EISY Portal Integration Offline

Featured Replies

The eisy at my main residence no longer connects to the portal.  It was connected and functioning normally yesterday including access through UD Mobile.  I noticed the eisy was offline when UD mobile placed a warning icon next to the controller.  I am able to connect to the eisy through IoX.

I noticed that the version was 5.8.3, so I upgraded to 5.8.4.  When I did this, the notifications tab in UD Mobile reported the upgrade.  It also reported PG3 stopping and starting.

On the IoX Portal tab, portal integration shows offline.  I tried refreshing and that didn't work.  Tried rebooting the eisy, no luck, tried the refresh again, no luck.  Also tried refreshing from within the Portal without success.

I have a second eisy at my vacation home that is connected to the portal, can be reached through IoX, and is fully functional from UD Mobile.

I thought about revoking the portal service for the disconnected eisy and then setting it up again but am not sure if there are any downsides to that.  I have extensive integration with Alexa and would rather not have to set that up all over again.

Any suggestions on what to try next for the disconnected eisy would be most welcome.

I'm having the same problem. I'm away from home travelling but can log into another computer at home and run the admin concole. Everything's working, just not connected to the portal. I'm still on 5.8.3 as I didn't want to attempt the upgrade remotely. Don't revoke the portal service because you'll lose the license. I did that once when trouble shooting and had to repurchase the portal license.

My ISY is also "Offline" as of last night around 11:38pm.

It works fine locally, and it has internet connectivity -- so must be something with the portal on UDI's end.

I opened a support ticket.

Portal down for me as well.  I'm on 5.8.4  This has been happening frequently in the last few weeks, usually in early morning hours PDT

Portal Service is also down for me.  Local control working fine.

Michel replied to my support ticket and said there was a portal outage last night and should be fixed now.

However it's still not working for me.

My eisy is reconnected to the Portal.  It's also working in UD Mobile.  Alexa functions are also working again.

Thanks to everyone for your quick responses and to the UD team for solving the problem.

It's still interesting to me that my other eisy was unaffected.

Should be working for everyone now.

Working fine now -- thanks!
