EISY / Hue bridge issues......again

Gentlemen, I'm back again with EISY/Hue issues. We experienced a power outage as a result of a storm. Everything came back except my link from the Hue bridge to the EISY. I can see and manipulate both devices and their controlled lamps and switches. The issue is that I cannot connect to Poyglot to re-up the link as I have done before. I downloaded the latest start.jnlp, I have rebooted everything and I get this when trying to connect NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID  when trying to get into Polyglot via the EISY interface that points here: https://eisy.local:3000/ Oh yeah, my router, EISY, and HUE bridge are on a UPS. Unfortunately the controlled lights are not.

@gschoffstall will you post a screen shot of where you see this error? 

I don’t use admin console or IoX Launcher/Finder to access the eisy PG3x interface…it’s all browser.

On your browser go to https://eisy.local:3000

If that’s where you see the issue there should be a more info and/or a continue to site option. Just continue to the site…since you’re accessing a local device this error is common and can be ignored for local connections (this is commented in the wiki). To bypass this leave the “s” off the url and just use http in the above link to the dashboard. But most web browsers force the https and will give a warning as described in the wiki. 

If this ends up being an issue with connecting to the Hue Hub then check that you have an IP reservation for the hub in your router. You might need to add the Hub IP to the plugin configuration page so that it will reestablish the Hue Hub connection.

The issue with the security cert was my fault. Duck Duck Go doesn't have a bailout like Chrome. I got past it with Chrome but I still need to resolve the rest of the mess. I "lost" one of the modules now. It shows up on the main screen with an ! . I tried a restore of both PLM and ISY, then a program restore with no success. And the link with the HUE system never came back. I'll keep fooling with it and report back. Thanks.

Can you please dumb this down a little for someone that doesn't mess a whole lot with router configurations? Thanks. For reference, the router is a Netgear AX1800 RAX10. 

And here's a new one. When trying to add back a previously working Insteon Appliance module that it "Forgot it had", here's what it reports

Do a web search for DHCP reservation for your router. I’m sure there might be step by step instructions available somewhere.

How are you linking? Are you typing in the address or auto link? If typing in be sure to look really close at the “B” you have…could be an 8 (number eight).

Since it’s an appliance module you might try plugging it in elsewhere to make the initial connection. I’m not familiar with those devices, but know sometimes noise or communication to the PLM can be an issue. I think @IndyMike and @Brian H have a lot of experience with those devices if it continues to fail.
