macjeff
What does version 1.2 do? the last version mentioned in read me is 1.1.7. Its installed and working. Just want to know what it changed/fixed? Link to comment
dwengrovitz
I installed V1.2 and all of my Ring devices have gone offline for my EISY. The PG3x log shows lots of issues with expired tokens, failing to refresh the Oauth token, and calls to the Ring API failing. Something in this release has not gone well for my devices. First I would try to re-authorize. Go to pg3x interface and the ring nodeserver install. Then go to configure and authenticate. Then restart. If it does not work, try a delete and re-install of the nodeserver. As long as its in the same slot, it should not hurt programs. Mine works fine and I confirmed there are no changes in the new version other than some back end things. 1 Link to comment
Solution bmercier Posted September 11 Solution Share Posted September 11 Version 1.2 has no functional changes. The main difference is that it is now using the UDI python interface's OAuth class. If after updating there are oAuth errors, then a re-authorize should fix it. 1 Link to comment
