Help: Registered but offline and unable to revoke

Recommended Posts

Howdy,

My polisy is no longer in communication with the UD portal. My subscription was renewed in May for two years, and still has plenty of life left. In ISY, it shows that I am registered but offline, and when I try to revoke the license, I receive an error message: "bad request"

I have updated packages, rebooted multiple times, updated java, deleted java cache (all three boxes) and still unable to find a fix. Adding insult to injury, it seems my Polisy reboots now every few minutes--although this might be provoked by trying to revoke the license, that's really the only time I've been actively in ISY; i.e. trying to resolve this issue.

ANy and all advice greatly appreciated!

PS My.isy.io will ocassionally show my polisy online, but that's short lived, moments later it will be offline (presumably due to the rebooting issue).

I'm having the same issue as of yesterday. I'm wondering if this is something on UD's end? I get all kinds of Java errors when in Admin console and then the lower red flag of death, which means I can't control anything.

Please open a support ticket with UD - https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets

Seems that something might be corrupt on your settings. If you're trying to revoke from the Admin Console it should let you do that without issue. You might also need to delete the device on the portal site. But please let UD direct you in the best method to resolve this.

Please post back what resolves this so that it might help others in the future.

What computer OS are you using? (Windows, Mac, Other)

What version Java do you have? The current version should be: Version 8 Update 421 (based on java.com site)

Portal connectivity shouldn't have any impact on what you're describing as UI issues.
