Baldwin 8285 (Kwikset) - won't lock correctly when commanded by Z-wave

Our SOHO Baldwin lock attempts close the lock 3 more times after the dead bolt is initially extended when commanded to lock by Z-wave. This results in the lock being out of sync and the dead bolt being jammed till I reset it manually using the mechanical lock mechanism. This is only a problem when commanded by z-wave. The mechanical lock knob and exterior lock button work correctly and smoothly. The behavior seems a lot like the calibration procedure you put the lock through on installation.  Is this a configuration problem with the UD device driver? Perhaps new firmware is needed for the lock? I haven't found information on how to update or modify either of these.

@Fil Please also note what you are using with this to manage the z-wave.

eisy/polisy/isy994?

Zmatter (eisy/polisy) or z-wave board (isy994)?

Also please look at help -> about in IoX and post the firmware (and UI) that you are currently running.

How long has this been going on? Did this just start happening?

Have you updated your controller recently?

Using ISY994. This has been a problem since I first installed in 2018. I haven't updated the controller since it was installed and am working on doing that. Thanks.
