Those of you trying to install the beta (non-production) version, are you selecting 3.2.2 - Free - Trial?  I just tried on my system and it worked as expected.

I was trying 3.2.2 but my view is different. I have Activate, not Install.

 

My PG3x is 3.2.27.  My installed version is 3.1.4.

And if you activate what happens? It should just authorize thru the portal and let you install?

When I activate, I get this. The version shows 3.2.1 but I activated 3.2.2.

I just updated the beta Standard to 3.2.2, @bmercier said if you own the production standard you can install the beta standard.  Let me know.

I installed 3.2.2 in a new slot.  Seems to be stuck in a loop with this error:

Must have been an install error, please "Download Log Package" and PM it to me.

@mjrush Thanks for the log package, it showed there was an install error.  Please try 3.2.3.

 

Now it seams to be looking for:

Please try 3.2.4

3.2.4 works. I can control the KP125M now.  The power nodes populate but the voltage and current are 0.  I don't see these in the Kasa app so I assume it doesn't report them.

Awesome!  Glad its finally working.  The new library has the ability to query features supported by the device so I need to do some rework on how I create the node so it properly shows the features it supports, like voltage and current.

I have bought the Production store Kasa (Standard - Perpetual) twice (and have been charged $30 twice) and yet I am still receiving the following message: "The subscription for this node server has expired."  So, I'm a bit gun shy to install it yet again (and get charged again).

When I go into the Production store, I only see 3.1.4 available.  I don't see 3.2.4.  I see the same thing in the non-production store.

I am running an ISY (v 5.3.4) and using a Polisy (v 3.1.13) for the plug-ins.

I believe I now have the correct version - 3.2.4 [beta].  Thank you to @bmercier.

However, it is still disconnected.  I notice the last line of the log says:  No module named 'mashumaro'

Well, I've paid $60 for this plugin (it charged me $30 twice) and it still doesn't work.  

Please let me know if this is fixable or not.

Yep, gave up on Kasa, too buggy and @Jimbo.Automates does not respond, so went Yolink.  More expensive but seems to work OK.

I can't control subscriptions, you'll need to submit a support ticket.

For the error: No module named 'mashumaro'

This means the install failed, please reinstall in the same slot then "Download Log Package" which will show the install error, and PM that to me.  You likely have a problem that support will need to look into.

Sorry for not responding previously, I try to monitor the forum but don't always get notifications.  The beta fixes many issues and I'll try to release soon.  Just remember, this is a side job for most developers so real work and life do take priority.

 

@Jimbo.Automates Thank you.  I only see version 3.1.4 available.  And I've read there's a 3.2.2 version around.  I probably need to update my Polisy (I run the ISY and have my plug-ins on Polisy).  I'll look into this in about 3 weeks as I am traveling off/on for a bit.  Hopefully this forum remains open until then!

And, I do appreciate that this is a side job for you and also appreciate what all plugin developers do for us users.

I am running eisy with current software.

PG3x Version 3.3.18
Status: Connected
Frontend Version: 3.3.18
IoX Version: 5.9.1   Connected

It is primarily Insteon but I recently added KASA support with your node server.

My system works well but with the following issue.

I have some older HS200 that are Hardware version 5 and firmware 1.0.11
I just installed a newer HS200 that is Hardware version 6.6 and firmware 1.0.3 Build 240723 Rel 192630
Both identify as current firmware.

When running the KASA production node server 3.1.4, everything else is fine including a few dimmable Kasa HS220. But the new HS200 is not found.  I cannot add it by IP or by name in the Polyglot interface and the node server doesn’t discover it.  I was able to add it in the ISY configuration under Plugins using the device id and the controller id and it appears, but it doesn’t work.

As a test, I loaded and ran the current beta version.  I added the Kasa login information and the newer HS200 was discovered and ran great.  Unfortunately, none of my HS220 dimmable switches are discovered in the Beta set up.

Am I missing something in setup or is there a difference in the production vs Beta?
