watson524 Posted Saturday at 01:27 PM Posted Saturday at 01:27 PM Hi all, currently running an isy and the license for remote access has run out. I don't feel like going to an eisy right now (Christmas lights on programs) but I do miss the remote control. If I renew the isy remote access License and switch to an eisy over the winter, will the license transfer or be prorated? Quote
Solution paulbates Posted Saturday at 01:32 PM Solution Posted Saturday at 01:32 PM You can add a new eisy to your renewed account @ my.isy.io Quote

watson524 Posted Saturday at 02:04 PM Author Posted Saturday at 02:04 PM One other quick question... I see there's a z wave board/enclosure and enclosure only. My isy has the wave built in so I assume there's not a board I can pull out of that and just put in a new enclosure or is it not worth the hassle? Quote
paulbates Posted Saturday at 02:12 PM Posted Saturday at 02:12 PM Not a zwave user. I'd search the forum for that topic, even recently some discussions about it. If that doesn't answer it, post a new topic in the right sub-forum Given the name of this thread, the new question will likely not be seen by many. Quote

No, the 300 or 500 zwave board in the older ISY cannot be used with a eisy. The eisy uses either a Zooz 700 series dongle, or the Zmatter board, installed as a USB device. Quote

Guy Lavoie Posted Saturday at 03:11 PM Posted Saturday at 03:11 PM The two connectors are for the zwave and zigbee antennas. Quote

Didn't know such a thing was an option. I just figured more non battery z wave devices = better reception and that's as much as you could do Quote
