Joe B Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 When I try to launch MobiLinc from a remote wifi network, it hangs at the splash screen. It doesn't happen over 3G or when I'm on the wifi network that is local to the 99i. It was working before I upgraded to iOS 4. Nothing has changed on the remote network. Anybody else having this issue?
Joe B Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Just got an email from Wes that he has found what the issue is in iOS 4 and is working on a fix that should be available soon. Kudos to Wes for responding so quickly.

mitch236 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 me too! I thought it was something to fix the connections issues I brought to his attention but I'm glad its not and he's fixing it. What a great product!!
InsteonNut Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Hi All, I've submitted a new version of MobiLinc (2.15.00) to Apple this evening that fixes the iOS 4 startup issue over Wi-Fi. Here are a summary of changes: iOS 4 Devices: - Fixed startup hanging issue on iOS4 devices. - Enabled Fast App Switching. - For ISY Users: -- Fixed sorting bug on the My Devices Page. -- Added under Advance Options to set the ON Level and Ramp Rate for Insteon Dimming Devices. Apple typically takes about 1 week to approve updates. I will post back once Apple has approved the update. Wes
Joe B Posted June 28, 2010 Author Posted June 28, 2010 Thanks Wes, you rock! I haven't been using MobiLinc for long, but if this is any indication of how responsive the company is, I will be a customer for a long while. Joe
InsteonNut Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 Hi All, I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that Apple still has MobiLinc in the queue waiting for approval. The feedback I'm receiving is that there are a very high number of iOS 4 updates app developers are submitting and that it is taking longer than usual to get updates approved. I apologize for the delay. I will post back once Apple has approved the update. Wes
InsteonNut Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Hi kingwr, MobiLinc for iPad is coming along. We are just about finished with the design layout and looking to get underway with coding. Our plans are ambitious for the iPad, as it's my goal for you to want to have MobiLinc and the iPad wall mounted in your home. Wes
InsteonNut Posted July 20, 2010 Posted July 20, 2010 Hi All, Apple approved MobiLinc 2.15.00 last night and is available for download. Thank you to everyone for your patience! Wes
