WHEN will you ever correct the lack op static IP option on the Eisy????????????????

I live in Florida, and every time the power goes out (twice a week) your silly device acquires a different IP address.

This compromises my security system.

We are not going to do that. The reason we removed this feature was because of massive tech support issues. You can easily have your router provide eisy the same address EVERY TIME by using DHCP Reservations. Please check your router's configuration instructions.

Agreed with @Michel Kohanim, it drove me nuts losing my static IP, and I too started a thread, but having been on the tech support side of home tech, it was a smart move on UDI part.  Most routers have a fixed DHCP reservation table.  I have everything in my house in that table, and leave DHCP open for a small window of other devices. Once I capture a MAC address I name it and add it to the table.  This way I can quickly see if there is something on my network that doesn't belong.
