bcdavis75 Posted May 2 Posted May 2 Hi all. After updating my Polisy, all node servers are showing "Disconnected" and will not restart. What was odd to me is that I had already updated to 5.9.1 with no issues. I wasn't exactly clear what this new update was but somewhat foolishly just proceeded with it anyway assuming it was minor bug fixes. Anyway, I cannot get the node servers to start back up now: Quote
apostolakisl Posted May 2 Posted May 2 did you try a reboot of the whole thing? I usually use putty to login (admin/admin) then enter the command "sudo reboot" Or if you want to really make sure, I believe the command is "sudo shutdown", let the unit shutdown and then pull power for 30 seconds. bcdavis75 Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Yes I did. I even tried pulling the plug for a few minutes. No change. Quote
Geddy Posted May 2 Posted May 2 @bcdavis75 It might be something that you need to open a support ticket with UD to see if there was a release put out that might have messed something up. You've performed the usual step of power cycling to see if they would load automatically, but something might be causing an issue. You also have several that are unmanaged. Did you have some PG2 plugins that you haven't removed since updating to PG3x on the Polisy? https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets I would suggest that you try one of the disconnected plugins and set the log level to "debug" then restart the plugin and allow it to run and settle (a few minutes might be needed). Then download that plugin log and see if there are any errors following the plugin restart command. It might give some hint as to what is causing the error. Either to you or to UD support. 1 Quote
bcdavis75 Posted May 2 Author Posted May 2 Thanks Geddy. I did and Micael got back to Michel got back to me already. I had to Reinstall all plugins. That seems to have worked for all except the old PG2 NS (which I don't care about) and the Roomba NS for some reason. Still working on that one. Seperate but related, how to I clean up/remove those old PG2 node servers? I can't figure out how to delete them in PG3. Quote
Geddy Posted Friday at 06:23 PM Posted Friday at 06:23 PM @bcdavis75 I'm not entirely sure how to remove them from the PG3 dashboard, but in Admin Console I think you can remove them from there and they might go away in the web dashboard. It's been too long since I tinkered with PG2/PG3 to remember the process. In Admin console: Plugins -> Configure -> Pick the range -> Select the plugin -> bottom of window "Delete" Did you re-install each one individually or did you use the system menu option to "Reinstall all Plugins"? bcdavis75 Posted Friday at 06:39 PM Author Posted Friday at 06:39 PM I used the system menu option. 1 Quote
