RichTJ99 Posted Wednesday at 11:56 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:56 PM Hi, I am running into an issue where i am running out of my 75 device limit for Caseta. I was planning on adding Caseta hub #2 to Home Assistant but i do like how the Eisy handles Insteon and Caseta devices as all 'native' devices for programing. Plus my home assistant does crash periodically where the Eisy doesnt crash (hope i didnt jinx myself). Can I add another hub into the Eisy? If i can i am a little confused on how to do that. Thanks, Rich Quote
Solution Geddy Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM Solution Posted yesterday at 01:17 AM @RichTJ99 more than likely you would install the plugin in another slot and run the second hub in that instance of the plugin. Plugins can be installed in multiple slots. I don’t use this one so not entirely sure, but would be my best suggestion. Quote
Guy Lavoie Posted yesterday at 01:39 AM Posted yesterday at 01:39 AM It will depend on how the hub is added. For example If it's by manually defining it's IP address as a parameter, then you could probably define two hubs in two instances of the plugin. If however it's by an automated discovery process, then the plugin would need to be able to handle finding more than one. Quote
RichTJ99 Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM Author Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM So I'm not entirely sure how the EISY did it but the first hub has a static IP. If I can make to work within the EISY I don't mind deleting and redoing it from scratch if necessary. I'm not entirely sure how to define the hub by IP address so that I could define a second one? Is there any documentation on how to do that? Thanks Rich Quote

Thanks, Rich Yes, the same way you added the first one. Install a second copy of the Caseta plug-in in an unused slot Set the IP address of the second hub in the plug-in configuration Press the black button on the hub to pair it when prompted by the plug-in 1 Quote
