Anyway... I'm curious why I can't take a dimmer on a Hue light down to zero?
That means I'd need to have two tiles to handle the dimming on these.
Or is there a better way to make the slider both dim and turn it off? 

I know that's a limitation in the admin console, I guess I just would have expected a more user-friendly UI would handle those types of interactions.

 

 

 

This is still just a beta. Will enhance this.

For now, just edit the tile and add a switch widget.

@bmercier  Not sure if its on your known todo list but with the new eisyui service running....

I CANNOT save a program change in the AC when running it from port 80 with the portal credentials. I can edit but it will not save. Sometimes a pop-up with a save message comes up but usually not.

I CAN edit and save in the AC if I run it using port 8443 and local credentials.

Again, both are with the eisyui service running.

I have experienced the same problem as @sjenkins with saving programs when using anything but port 8443.

I have also experienced a couple of random, reboots. As well as random plugins failing and restarting and notices about the portal being offline. I have also had Alexa complain that the "hub" is offline when asking her to turn on ISY devices and programs. These things are not frequent and unfortunately by the time I get to log in to download logs they have already refreshed.

I was hoping others were having the same issue but it looks like my experience may be a one-off.

@sjenkins, @TJF1960, Thanks for reporting the problem with saving programs.

I reproduced it in dev and will release it in the next hour or so.

The program save issue is resolved in dev. The other issues you are having are not related to eisy-ui. I would encourage you to open a ticket.

I did have to clear the cache to get the new version to load in my browser

I removed it from the feature list of 0.5.1. It will be permanently fixed with the next IoX release.

Please check what the log says when you save.

Also, are you sure Set Brightness is the right command?

Tried out 0.5.3

You can see it developing, step-by-step, I like the node icons.  It crashed once on me with a message about compressing, but I couldn't get it to repeat.  I will document next time.

If you compress any groups/folders then select a node it immediately uncompresses (assuming reloading the whole list), this means that you lose where you are in the list.  I think you mentioned before that an ISY update was needed to fix this & get it to remember when you open/close a folder/group?  Just ignore me for now if this is in the pipeline.

That's a regression bug. I made many changes that are not visible, and obviously this broke the folder compressed/uncompressed persistence. Will fix this in the next release.

Thanks for the fix on the folder memory, checks out.

Maybe for the TODO list.  One nice feature of the AC was the ability to click on a node then to move up/down the list with cursor, opening and closing folders with left/right.  For us old school keyboarders (I am known for using Emacs) that was really nice.

Folder auto opening is fixed.  Clicking on Node column to sort does not.  Just a random sort order.  Consistently the same incorrect order.

Thanks for reporting this. Actually, the sort order is not random, it's sorted using the node address, which is not displayed in this column.

This will be fixed in the next release.

@bmercier Not sure if its a known condition but the status for nodes from my local plugins, which I use for development do not show up in the eisy-ui or the AC when I log in with my portal login.  They are mostly blank.  When I use the 8443 port and log in with my local login the status in the AC updates.

Bit of a fringe case I know but I banged my head for an hour before I tried to log in with the local AC.

I clear cache and tried on both Chrome and Firefox.

I'm not sure if it ever worked as I jumped onto this thread at 5.4. (new EISY)

Thanks for your feedback. After investigation, I found out the problem and just released 0.5.6. Basically, the problem was that you don't have a home page created yet. 0.5.5 should have created one automatically on startup, but due to a build issue, it did not.

@bmercier Seems my AC console is broken - Lib Errors 403 after login.

I rebooted, power off/on, but no go.

Suggestions?

Thanks for the clarification @bmercier everything is working perfectly now.

Package 0.5.6 fixed the home page issue.
