Posted Monday at 04:53 PM2 days Has anyone encountered this behavior with adding a new ZWave device?Recently, I purchased a ZWave On/Off Module with Energy Monitoring capabilities. I enrolled the device as I have done with other, older ZWave modules. The process went without a hitch. After a few minutes, I noticed that the device entries all had the green <Writing> status next to each entry. For Insteon devices, there is an explicit command for finish writing updates to a device. What are you supposed to do for ZWave devices? I have tried leaving the device alone and waiting for the <Writing> status to go away. When it didn't go away, I tried putting the plugin device into pairing mode. No change.Does anyone know what's supposed to happen here? Or is this device just something to return for another device from a different company? Thanks.
Monday at 05:44 PM2 days Is the new ZWave device physically distant from your other ones? If so, try moving it closer and try adding it again.
Monday at 06:25 PM2 days @matapan Does your ISY have the 300 or the 500 series zwave board? Both of those boards have a limited RF zwave range. Depending on how many zwave devices you have and their proximity to the ISY, you may need to add a range extender such as the ZAC38Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Plus Range Extender ZAC38 - The Smartest House

Yesterday at 01:57 PM1 day Attached is an article on the Zwave networkNot sure why you're seeing the wrtie updates. What is the model of the zwave device you're trying to install. What controller and Zwave dongle are you using ZWAVE network repair.pdf
