Zooz ZEN05 8800LR Outdoor Plug

Featured Replies

I just got a ZOOZ ZEN05 800LR Outdoor Plug to use with my EISY/Zwave setup. The device came with several QR codes to set it up but none for the EISY so I just went into the Admin console/Z-wave menu and added a new device. I pressed the button on the plug 3 times to put it into pairing mode and my EISY found it. It showed it supported S2 security but to add it with that enabled, I needed a PIN which I don't believe I have. I don't see anything in the box that says it's a PIN. So I turned off S2 and it added with no security (I assume). How could I add this device with the S2 turned on? How would I find the PIN? Any helpful suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

The pin code should be either under or above the QR code, you may need a magnifying glass to see it.

So every time I restart the Admin Console, I get a Z-wave Device 9 Secure Inclusion popup asking me to verify or reject this long string of numbers (the 1st four of which are the PIN). If I click Verify, if goes to a Remove Devices popup. See below. It just stays open till I click the red close button in upper left. Is this expected? Screenshot 2025-12-09 at 2.19.13 PM.png

I also have 3 instances of ZY 009 SC Basic Control. Is that expected as well?

Oh no - I recently added 3 Zooz devices and left the secure inclusion checkboxes enabled - when prompted for the PIN, I just made one up - all 3 devices seem to work fine, but I did see that pop-up one time - is there any way to check which z-wave devices were included securely vs. unsecurely? If secure inclusion is going to cause problems, then I'm good with non-secure as I just want things to work...
