Yolink Upgrade

Featured Replies

On my PG3 Dashboard, it shows an update available for the Yoink server.

But when I click on Update, I get to this screen and no upgrade button. It's been while since I upgraded a plugin but I'm scratching my head right now. Any help would be appreciated. I bought this plugin back in 2024.

Thanks!

Go back to the main dashboard. Along the top menu there is an item that says Purchases. Is Yolink listed as a purchased plugin?

I have tried that menu item several times and it doesn't show any purchases at all. See screen shot. But my ISY Portal shows several plugin purchases. Not sure what is going on.

Thanks for the screenshot. I think the key to your issue is displayed in the screenshot. Notice it says "getting list of purchases"? To me, that means it is not getting the list and therefore, pg3 doesn't know you have purchased the plugin.

There is a shortly of things I would try and if they don't work, I suggest you stop and open a support ticket with UD.

  1. Try rebooting, wait about 15 - 20 minutes and try again. Make sure when you log in you use your portal credentials.

  2. How are you accessing pg3? Right now, if you are on eisy, the official way to access pg3 is from https://eisy.local or http://eisy.local.

  3. Log in to the portal and double check your portal subscription is active and eisy is online.

  4. Try running upgrade packages, be sure to wait for the notice to reboot and give ample time before logging in again.

@DennisC thanks. So let's talk about #2 first. I was getting to my PG3 page through the Admin console. I did reboot my EISY and then the purchases showed up again and I was able to update the Yolink plugin. Thanks for that. I also found there was a package update to I'm installing that now. I did get a "Socket timeout" popup but it looks like it's upgrading. We'll see. Hope that message goes away when it's done. Screenshot 2026-01-16 at 8.59.15 AM.png

@Kentinada when your system comes back up you might need to associate your portal account with the PG3 access. I think somebody else went through this the other day with something else.

Try accessing PG3 via web browser by this address: http://eisy.local:3000/ (If this doesn't work replace "eisy.local" with the IP of your eisy).

Then on the top menu click on "System" then click on "Switch Portal Profile". Log into the portal with the account you've always had (the one you purchased this, and hopefully other, plugins).

It's likely that you somehow logged in with a different account or PG3 had forgotten your portal account. It just needs to be re-synched.

@Geddy Using the local port 3000 is no longer recommend by UD. When using port 3000, there are certain plugins that disconnect and then reconnect. This happens when trying to access pg3, eisy UI, or UD Mobile (local) when using this port. That is why I suggested using the official method for accessing pg3.

I know this from a support ticket on this issue. UD is aware of this and they are working on an alternative, but for now they recommend staying away from port 3000. I believe there are some post that include reply's from UD staff also mentioning this.

@DennisC thanks for the info. Crazy times!

I agree, and unfortunately, while I support UD completely, they have not always been good at disseminating information. For awhile we were being told when a new upgrade was available and what corrections or new additions had been included. Not so much now......
