Is there a way to turn off “upgrade available”?

Featured Replies

Is there a way to turn off “upgrade available” in notifications? I get notified daily. Would prefer that notifications be limited to system issues.

If you update then the message won't appear. The updates contain bug fixes and enhancements.

I assume that the message is about a hardware upgrade. Seems to me software might be called “update”. When I click on it, nothing happens should take me to info about an upgrade.

Are you receiving the notification in UD Mobile or the Admin Console

What controller and firmware version do you have

To update the controller firmware you need to click on "upgrade packages"

I’m getting the notification in UD Mobile. In mobile, it says that there is a firmware update available. Though I would think 6.0.4 is higher than 6.0.0. I need to go to my PC to login to the console and to make backups before an update will check tomorrow

Firmware update available.

Current Version: 6.0.4

pg3x-3.3.23

Available Version 6.0.0

The current eisy firmware is 6.0.4._1

Current eisy-ui is 0.9.0

Current PG3x is 3.4.11

iIt's possible that one or more needs an update i.e. PG3x

The upgrade available notice is kinda broken. It really needs to have an easy way to see what the upgrade is going to do and a way to skip it (i.e. stop telling you everyday that it's available if you indicate you don't want it). And no, having to go to the forums and search for a post about it is not what I consider easy.

When my system is stable, I'm very hesitant to install any upgrades. I'd like to know, before doing an upgrade, that there is something in the upgrade that will solve an issue I am having, if not, I want to skip it. This is for my "production" system. My development systems tend to be kept up-to-date.
