January 25Jan 25 I really couldn't find much on here about locks and matter, or really thread devices especially. I did get a Kwikset Halo Select, it adds fine, but has no controls or anything. So, I 'm guess no support for locks, or for thread devices? Or are there even any locks that aren't thread? Not sure. There probably are discussions I couldn't fine, searching for any term + matter isn't super helpful, another domb decision on that whole thing. :). At any rate just curious if anyone can point me anywhere this has been recently discussed, or if anyone has had similar or differing experinces with these thing? Thanks!!!
January 25Jan 25 I’ve got Schlage encode plus deadbolts which are WiFi and thread with an Apple TV as border router. I use them with Schlage plugin which leverages a cloud api. They work great for me. Battery life has been 6-9 months.

I did get it to pair with Google home, and wow.....the second I flipped the lock manually to lock or unlock, I immmmmmediately saw it reflect on my phone, which is pretty awesome.

I use Yale locks since I can change the module inside to whatever technology I want to use. I've never had an issue with signals whether its been zwave or the Control4 module which is zigbee but proprietary to C4
