Press settings (gear icon). Then click on any of the notification types (sound names), then click Sounds, THERE is no Select Sounds after pressing the fear icon........See attached image......now select a sound from your device.

16 hours ago16 hr @JSchumann If you scroll down you should see a line for Notification Cateagories. Clicking on that line will give you more options. If you don't have a line for Notification Categories then you probably have no options for additional sounds
