October 14Oct 14 Under System Configuration, there is a time zone picture with sunrise / sunset and then a map. If I change the location under the map to be my precise location, the time zone changes to an incorrect time zone of GMT -6.If I subsequently change it manually back to -5 under either screen, it does not stick and reverts back to -6. The only way to get it back to -5 is to use the Locate Me button on the bottom of the map frame and to choose a nearby city in the dialogue box. then the -5 reverts and sticks.
October 15Oct 15 Fixed, likely in release after next. ID: /eisy-ui/pull/111Until that time use the nearest city with the correct timezone

When I change it, it does not update and reverts to -5. My actual offset is -6.Having the correct time is pretty critical to a system that operates based on time of day parameters. If you have some way to force this to a different setting, I am all ears but there is not an option that allows me to "select another city"Tom

Do i have to drop my pin there? That seems to work, but is there another method? My real timezone is the same as Chicago but I guess I can just drag the pin around until it looks good.
Friday at 05:54 PM5 days Clicking the "Locate Me" button when not using https, e.g eisy.local or ipAddress, will show a list of locations with timezones (this is what Admin Console does). eisy-ui use geolocation for https. The next version will replace the offset with the timezone selection.
