Folks,

 

I just dug up my older unit and installed the latest firmware 2.7.15

 

i cleared everyting out and now i am unable to even save the simplest of the simple program ... 'send x10 'I9/On (3)'

 

when i go to save i get 2 dialog boxes with "Request Failed"

 

common?

 

I cant save anything in programing

Is the Error LED on or blinking on the ISY? That would be an issue with the SD card.

 

Otherwise this usually indicates a firewall blocking writes to the ISY.

no firwall on the pc i am using - and no error (I did reseat the SD card)

 

cant really do anything with it if i cant save a program =(

Please go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Status/Info and make sure the status is Connected. If not, then you have PLM issues ==> ISY is in Safe Mode and that's the reason you cannot save any programs.

You need a new/repalcement PLM!

You may also want to look at the connector on the PLM and make sure the pins are not bent up too high.
