so when adding a motion sensor, i go to the bottom of the list and there is 10.01 and 10.03 and they are both Insteon Motion Sensor 2420M. Whats the difference?

Software version? Is there not a tag on the motion sensor which identified the version?

You should not see 10.03, the motion sensor is 10.01.

 

Are you certain you cleared the Java cache? Which OS are you using?

Ahh...cache may be it. I forgot I upgraded again and use so many different pcs. I will try that.

The other one should be 2441-SP (for Smarthome Pro series).

 

Recently we added support for SmartHome Pro series which have new SKUs with additional functionality. We do not have access to the additional functionality but the base functionality should work fine with ISY 2.8.12.
