Calendaring

1. Can there be a calendar:

a. ability to enter dates.

b. paste a date list to a field and parse the entries.

c. This is for a custom holidays (Jewish) schedule so those dates can be used with programs in conditions etc.

d. Better yet calculate the Jewish Holidays automatically (based on Lunar dates) and assign them names. This is a VERY important selling feature.

e. I guess the variables can be used if they were dates and could be compared as such in an if statement.

 

I can help to write this module if required (just need to get familiar with the SDK).

Hi Gali,

 

You can create Jewish calendar programs for the next few years and then you can use them in your other programs as flags. It's not difficult, but it's a little time consuming since you actually have to go through the Jewish Calendar for the corresponding date/time, and do the same for all holidays for the next, say, 10 years.

 

Once you are done, it would be great if you could share it with us so that we can put a link to it on our WiKi.
