Not sure if this is related or not, but this is what happened.

I was on 3.1.6 and I could not get my query to query. All my devices said 9.0 ramp rate and I couldn't get anything to reset them. I did the following to try and fix in order.

1. Reset ISY

2. Reset PowerLinc Modem

3. Tried running Query Program Then from program menu.

4. Pushed Query on main network without anything happening.

5. Tried writing updates to devices and nothing happened.

6. Re-installed 3.1.6, did not fix it.

7. Installed 3.1.5 and it fixed it.

What I remember doing before the problem occurred.

Created some new scenes and deleted some. Moved the new scenes to folders.

I'm trying to reproduce the error on my end, or hopefully you already knew about this.

Hi Joe,

Thanks so very much for the steps to reproduce the issue ... it did help: the problem is in the UI and not 3.1.6 firmware.

This should be fixed in 3.1.7 wherein we basically had to massively change our networking framework.

With kind regards,

Michel

Hello Elvis,

We were going to have 3.1.7 this morning but found a little bug which seems to be eating up buffers especially when you use Chrome. As such, I do not think we are going to have 3.1.7 released this weekend.

Sincere apologies.

With kind regards,

Michel

OK. Thanks.

Elvis

P.S. Although I already regression tested the other scenerios in which I could previously cause the ISY to lock up, I am very pleased to report I had my first power outage during an electrical storm and the ISY did not lock up when connected to the Elk. Thanks for all your hard work and support.

Hi Elvis,

Thanks so very much for the update.

Currently we have an issue whereby if DNS is not reachable and if you have programs that use DNS service, after about an hour, we lose all our buffers (slowly). Still have not been able to figure out the cause but are very close.

With kind regards,

Michel
