Memory : Refresh EPROM Failed

Everything was working fine until this evening, when I noticed that all devices were showing as failed (red !) in the admin console. The ISY does seem to be communicating with the PLM successfully (in "PLM Info/Status" the string displayed ends with " v92 / Connected"). Tried the query-all and manual query, tried rebooting, tried unplugging the ISY and the PLM for a minute. Finally, (based on threads in the forums) tried the "Restore PLM" option and watched the Event Log.

Looking at Event Log, I see "Memory : Refresh EPROM Failed". Is this as serious as it sounds?

Hello KeviNH,

If all of a sudden you started having comm issues, then my first question is whether or not you have any INSTEON thermostats. If you do, please unplug them and then retry.

Refresh EEPROM failing is a side effect of not being able to communicate with those devices.

With kind regards,

Michel
