Recommendation for Simple Alarm Panel setup

Good Morning All!

 

I am looking for recommendations for a simple alarm panel that would monitor a couple motions sensors and some door contacts that would get along

nicely with my ISY-99I.

 

Features I would like:

3-4 Motion sensors- (haven't purchased these yet)

8 door contacts-(already installed, currently just wired through my Speco DVR to force record for 2 mins starting 10 secs prior to door being opened.)

The ability to Arm/Disarm via Andriod or IOS products

Ability to program to Arm/Disarm through Keylinc

Alarm Annunciation-send email SMS message (I guess this could be sent via ISY-99I)

 

Would you recommend doing it differently? How do you have your alarm system setup with the ISY? What brand,model?

An Elk m1G and the ISY Elk module will have no trouble doing what you want here. You might consider it overkill however.

 

I am not positive if the Elk EZ8 works with the Elk module, perhaps Michelle can comment, but if it does, you could save a little money there.

 

You could also look into using a DSC system and io_guys DSClink program. This would require running a pc at all times. You would need to confirm what models of DSC alarms work with DSCLink.

ELK module will work with EZ8 ... the differences are in the number of input/outputs and tasks.

 

At least that's what I heard from ELK.
