New PLM

I heard a rumor that the new improved Smarthome PLM is now available. One, is that true and Two, what is the model number?

Thanks

I would imagine that they will want us to upgrade by purchasing a new one instead of trading in and old one for the firmware update.

What would be the advantages of upgrading to the "new, improved PLM?"

Hello aanthony,

1. Yes, it is true

2. Same model number http://www.smarthome.com/2412s.html

With kind regards,

Michel

Better reliability, more memory to allow more scenes. Oh and maybe a few more $ for the SH 2008 P&L Statement. Yes Virginia, with all the problems, all of us have had, they should be "upgrading" for free.

Brignolo,

If you have a very large installation, then obviously you need it. Otherwise, if you are not experiencing PLM lockups or intermittent communications, you really don't need it.

With kind regards,

Michel
