robandcathy1 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Out of the blue decide to check in and see what the latest beta is then tried to sign in to ISY gave credintals, then recieved message active x has been blocked by IE and would not let me install, ok being half the dummy I am I lowered all my security settings. Now I get option to install but when I click it nothing happens, now mind you I have had the ISY for 3 years and updated it often and played around in there quite a bit but never have I been locked out. Any suggestions? I assume its a update that was pushed to IE9 that caused this not sure how to get around it but just had a thought Ill try firefox yeah have same problem with firefox hangs up on page that says "PLEASE KEEP THIS WINDOW OPEN" Edit: For some reason using IE9 64 bit worked fine, even though I have both versions of JAVA installed, also strange I have build 7 update 1 when on web site they are offering build 6 update 30, did they revert back to the older version because of problems?
Michel Kohanim Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Hi robandcathy, Please do not use Java 1.7 ... we spent a few days trying to figure out the source of intermittent Admin Console crashed and it turned out to be a bug in 1.7. Stay with .29 or .30. With kind regards, Michel
