XML import/export

It would be nice to be able to export the scene/device database in a parseable format so reports could be generated showing a given configuration.

It would really nice to be able to manually edit and re-import this representation to aid in setting up large installations (ie: putting 50 devices into an 'all off' scene is quite painfully slow one at a time, if I already have a list of all the device ID's and locations it would be nice to just pound through some simple data entry to get them imported rather than slowly linking and renaming each one).

This product is wonderful, these are just minor nits that might make it easier to use setting up a larger installation.

evarsanyi,

You can already get the XML report at:

http://your.isy.ip:port/WEB/NODESCNF.XML

We are working on a solution for import/export (templates) for large installations.

Thanks so very much for your feedback and suggestions,

With kind regards,

Michel
