Is there a way to chart the actual temp on a thermostat...not the setpoint. I would like to know how the temp is fluctuating over the past week based on my setpoint programs.

The ISY Log provides that information. Unless the HVAC system cannot keep up with the heat load the temperature is not going to change more than 2 degrees.

I only have the Office Starter package so I can't view the log in excel. Is there another way to view the log?

What other software could I open the txt file with?

 

MS Excel Viewer - Free from MS

OpenOfice - Free from Sun

StarOffice - Free

LibreOffice - Free

 

Any of the above should get you going in either Excel or CSV/txt formats.
