mrobles Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Hi, I am trying to connect to my ELk M1. It will not connect and will not save the Ip address or other info. I have the latest firmware on all systems. Help
Michel Kohanim Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 mrobles, Are you certain you have the UI that's the same version as your ISY's firmware (Help | About)? Also, if settings are not saved, I suspect that you cannot save anything and which points to Firewall issues. Are you certain that ISY is in the trusted zone/white list on your software firewall? With kind regards, Michel
mrobles Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 My UI and firmware are 3.2.6. I can save items. Icreated a folder, changed rules and added a device with out a problem.
Michel Kohanim Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Hi again, so is it that you cannot save ELK rules only but you can save everything else? Also, have you looked at troubleshooting section here: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... leshooting With kind regards, Michel

mrobles Posted October 27, 2012 Author Posted October 27, 2012 By the way I can't backup ISY it states can't find elk.cnf
Michel Kohanim Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 mrobles, Please do the following: 1. Telnet to ISY (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... o_Your_ISY) 2. Login 3. Type the following: RF /CONF/ELK.CNF 4. Reboot ISY Retry. It seems that ELK configuration file is corrupt or is locked. With kind regards, Michel
mrobles Posted October 30, 2012 Author Posted October 30, 2012 I got it to work by updateing firmware and software on ISY.
