jmed999 Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 I'm thinking about buying a Davis weather station (Wireless Vantage Pro2). -If I purchase one of these and the software required to make it a backyard station so it uploads info to weatherbug will it provide enough info to use in calculating evapotranspiration? I have the climate and irrigation modules for calculating evapotranspiration and my closest station is over 10 miles away I'm looking for another way. -What info is required from a backyard weather station or any other station for that matter, to calculate evapotranspiration? I would hate to spend all that money to find out I still can't use evapotranspiration to save $$$ on my water bill. Thanks!!!

I found out... The required weather variables for evapotranspiration is Elevation, high/low temp, wind speed, pressure, dew point, and today's rain.
