Removing and replacing thermostat

Our previous thermostat adapter was replaced with a new one. But now we can't remove the Thermostat from the device list to replace it with the new one. I guess in order to remove a device it still has to be present? Which doesn't make much sense if the device is dead and can never be connected again. The thermostat entry has a red ! in front and can neither be moved or removed or anything for that matter.

How can we remove the old thermostat from the list in the ISY-99i/IR PRO admin console and replace it with the new one? Also, will all the programs associated with the thermostat be deleted if we delete the thermostat?

Add the new Thermostat. Then use Replace xxxx with .... function against the old thermostat definition. The old Insteon address will not be referenced

But now I ran into another problem. I bought MobiLinc Pro on the Android store and in order for that to work, I need to purchase a module. Now when I go into admin console and select 'purchase module' the site that opens keeps telling me: Purchasing Modules requires firmware 2.7.7 (and above)! even though our firmware version is 3.2.6. Why can't I purchase the necessary module to get MobiLinc to work? Any advice on this?

I don't use MobiLinc so will not be of much help. There is a MobiLinc category where the question might be better posted.

The problem is not really MobiLinc but ISY not letting me purchase any module due to displaying that I need v2.7.7 and above.

Yes, when I go to Help>About it does display Firmware v3.2.6

It shows v3.2.6 for UI as well

The complete lines for Firmware and also UI read: Insteon_UD99 v.3.2.6 (2012-05-04)

The ISY was updated to v3.2.6 a while ago (as soon as we got the email with available update notification)
