  1. Just adding a thought, gmail has a way to keep two-factor on and still use the account for ISY and other things. Log into your gmail account and under Security you can setup App passwords.
  2. @madcodger I'm doing that same thing with temps on my iPhone app but in a different way. I may be able to get that done but can't get to it for a couple of days.
  3. I run mine on an Intel NUC7i7BNH with 10 HD cams and it does just fine at 28 watts power consumption.
  4. @Teken You may be trying to use Ping to do things beyond what it was intended to do. It was created to monitor other Polyglot devices, router, modem, BlueIris PC. Some devices may not respond to the single ping request or may require something to wake them up. You may want to look at this, Zabbix https://www.zabbix.com/network_monitoring , for a more robust monitoring solution. I've just started looking into it and may give it a shot to dig deep into the network metrics.
  5. The timeout for the ping is the short poll time, the long poll is not used. I have problems pinging my iPhone, it shows off network most of the time. Everything else works fine. What are these network appliances? Edit: Just updated the Ping NS, this may resolve the issue. v1.0.7
  6. The Options button on the sensor page gets you some of that and then right click on the device in the left panel and select Advanced / PLM Communication, you can set the retries there. Make sure to Write to the device before you get out of pairing mode.
  7. I have 6 of those things and can not get one of them to work no matter what I do. A couple that I did get working that weren't, I put them in pairing mode and changed the options, HB every hour and 3 retries of the HB and they work flawlessly now. So I have 5 that report so the odd ball is on the laundry room door that just turns on the light. They are various versions.
  8. PiCamMonitor, Ping, Push, GarageDoorPi
  9. I have 4 nodeservers presently, I do my best to maintain and respond even though there is no remuneration at the moment. I do so because I enjoy it and the hope of future income. If at any time I no longer want to maintain or respond I will gladly hand everything over to someone else rather than abandon anything.
  10. If I had a penny for every time one of my Nodeservers was cloned I'd have about $10
  11. My upgrade was smooth as silk!
  12. The Push nodeserver does receive a response code when used, I can add a driver that could be used for backup if there is an error sending to Pushover. That way an email or sms can be sent. A bit busy so give me a couple of days.
  13. I would try this: If From Sunset To Sunrise (next day) And ( Status 'Outside / House Front (load)' is Off And Status 'Garage / Garage Sensor' is Switched Off ) This will limit the check to only the desired time and only if the load is off.

    ISY app

You're on the list. I have most of the function and control working, sub-pages, gestures and the like. Dealing with nodeservers and feedback, the real fun stuff.

    ISY app

I have a very good friend, I do fabrications for him and help with major AV and other tech installs, he thinks it the other way around, drives me nuts!

    ISY app

While thinking about how to get all this to work I've been crafting some different background options.

    ISY app

That is pulling the stream from BI, could get it from the cam direct but then you would have to open a port and forward for each cam. You would have the option to do either but I think is safer the BI route.

    ISY app

I'm fleshing out this app thing. I may want some testers down the road.

    ISY app

I created that with Command Fusion which can be used to create an app that could be in app stores. I will be spending some time figuring out all of the potential that is there, much of which is over my head right now but if I can figure it all out I might.

    ISY app

I fiddled around a few hours and made my perfect ISY app, one page with everything I need an app to do.

    ISY app

I watched a YouTube video and had my garage door buttons done in just a few but the http Get is killing me. I think this is fantastic for a simple few things that I actually need an app for.

    ISY app

I'm checking out the Command Fusion thing, this is exactly what I want, a way to have just a couple of buttons. Been trying to operate a light with no luck. Can someone scratch their brain and figure out why this won't work: GET /rest/nodes/4B%20C3%20F6%201/cmd/DON HTTP/1.1\x0D\x0AHost: 10.108.9.161\x0AAuthorization: Basic YWRta01120W014016YWRtaW4=\x0D\x0A\x0D\x0A

    ISY app

Alexa app for me. Opening and unlocking doors with voice commands isn't a good idea so an app is useful there but then with Alexa you can do the manual switch thing.

    ISY app

I have Agave and eKeypad and honestly, I use neither very much. Open and Close the garage door while working around the house is about all I use either for. I have a few items on the Home/Favorites page that give me the status of doors, motion, etc, but that's about it. An app comes in handy on the rare occasion that I need to control something while away but for the most part, everything in my house is automated and/or voice controlled.
  25. There is a NodeServer that can do that and more if you are v5 on the ISY. It requires setting up a Polyglot on Raspberry Pi. Fairly easy to do.
