I figured out why it wasn't working properly. I needed to set it to the time about now and when it hit that time it started. So, it seems to be working properly now. It would have started at 8 tomorrow if I would have set it to 8. I just wasn't thinking properly. It has now queried several times already so my temp is reading properly. -

Well, I figured it out but is there any way to put the times in faster than adding each one individually? -
Unless I go into the console and query my thermostat every so often my thermostat reading is not accurate. It may show 71 on the thermostat readout on the wall but on any devices it shows something different until I go into the console and query it. Can anyone guide me to a place or help me to setup a program to get my thermostat to query every 10 minutes or so? I have set up programs before but then I don't do it for several years and forget. Thanks.

I use my laptop by just using the isy finder and that works great. Is there no way to do that with the phone too?
-
Is there a link where I can find out how isy portal works?
-
What do you use? What seems to be the best overall app? Thanks.

I have bucked the world for many years and just finally decided to break down and buy a phone. I have the galaxy S7. Is there an easy way to control the isy when I am on the road? Thanks.

Thanks for doing that. I post in multiple places.

What if I have the old one in scenes in the main listing? Do I have to name the new one first? -
I have never had to replace a KPL before but have to now. What is the proper procedure so I can keep all of my settings from the old one? What are some things I will need to do if I have the old one in scenes? Where can I find a tutorial on this? Thanks.

This is strictly insteon. What is wrong with my KPL switches?
ingeborgdot replied to ingeborgdot's topic in ISY994
These switches are 6 years old or more. That is probably the problem. Some of the switches that had the old problem. I think I'll just order the new ones and see what happens. -

They are an incandescent flood light. -
I am having problems with 2 of my KPL switches. What happens to them is when I turn on the main switch on the KPL it starts sounding like (??static sound or something like that) and the lights flash on and off and I can't shut off the lights. I have to cut power to the switch in order to shut it off. This happens to two of my KPL switches. Has anyone had this happen? What is the problem? Are new ones in order?

I just can't seem to get my router programmed properly. I hate when AT& T switches these things out. Then I have to learn them all over again.

When I go to portforward it says I need to set up a static address. Do I really need to do that?
