So I guess I finally have to break down and spend more money and pay for a 994i. Any links.

ISY99 is what I am using. What can I do?

I can't get into my console anymore from another location. What is going on this time? It says Socket open failed javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: server chose SSLv3 but protocol version is not enabled or supported by the client. Then it goes to error. XML Parse error https and my ip What can I do? Thanks.

For Uverse?

I used to use dyndns but they went to pay instead of free so for the little I used it I didn't want the cost. I then went to noip but for some reason it does not work properly. I had to get a new router with AT&T Uverse and that doesn't give me any good options to use noip like the other router I had so that may be the reason more so than noip. I just am not sure what to do to make it work properly on my other computers that I take on the road. I did have it set after Michael helped me with just using my ip address but when I was gone it didn't work and came back to find the ip had changed. That just doesn't cut it. I just need to find a tutorial or something.

What will the isy994 give me over the isy99? Will it make getting into my isy from outside my network easier? If so, how? Can someone explain that to me? Thanks so very much.

I have the Venstar thermostat but need a little help. This might just be how thermostats work and I can't do anything about it. When I set the AC to run at 74 the thermostat does not kick in until the temps reach 76 or 77 degrees. Well, that is not keeping it at 74. Is there something I need to change or do I just need to change my whole system of cooling? Thanks.

Recently I had to upgrade my router to the new U-Verse Motorola NVG510. I have no clue how to set my ports on this to get my isy99 to work from the internet. Is there anyone out there that has this router that could help me? Thanks so much.

Can I ask one more thing? My isy just does not seem to keep time. What is the best server to use or what do you do to keep time properly. It is over 2 hours behind. Thanks.

I figured it out. I just had to go in and put in the exceptions that were listed in the location. I had it for the bookmark location but every location I guess has to have an exception. Thanks so much for getting me where I needed to be.

Here are the instructions it tells me to follow Windows: Open the Windows Control Panel Double click the Java control panel applet. Click the Security tab Click the “Edit Site List…†button. Click the “Add†button and enter the URL for your ISY-99i series controller. Click “OK†and close the Windows Control Panel†But I don't see an edit site list. All I see is manage certificates. And when I go into that it has no add buttons. It has export, import, remove, and details. I don't know for sure now.
