  1. Okay. I read something about Mobilinc and Alexa having problems and you could not use the same port. So, if I go with Agave, which package do most people buy? You have the all access pass - 99.99 Agave ISY all access pass - subscription 1.99 basic limited access - 5.99 extended access (thermo) - 19.99 extended access (flora) - 19.99 extended access (portal) - 21.99 extended access (variables) - 19.99 I don't need any sprinkler control because my RainMachine has a great app already. I want to be able to control my lights at home and away. The thermostat I have is a Venstar and runs through my isy994i but I want something a little better so I might be switching thermostats soon. Any suggestions on which package or what I need to make it work will be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. Agave for Android, okay. Now the portal thing. Does Agave take up the same portal that Amazon Echo does?
  3. I got a new Samsung S7 several months back and want to install an app for my Insteon lighting with my isy994i. What seems to be the very best way to go? Mobilinc or Agave? Is Mobilinc more versatile? I also got Alexa the other day and want to control my Insteon system with it. I have read so much my head hurts. If I have Mobilinc on my phone I need to purchase a portal but will I be able to use Alexa if I use mobilinc?? Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the info that I need to get all of this figured out? The portal thing kind of confuses me right now.
  4. It gives me an error now. I can't because it says socket open failed java.net. ConnectException:Connection refused: no further information.
  5. I've never used the UD Ajax. Where is that?

  7. I figured out why it wasn't working properly. I needed to set it to the time about now and when it hit that time it started. So, it seems to be working properly now. It would have started at 8 tomorrow if I would have set it to 8. I just wasn't thinking properly. It has now queried several times already so my temp is reading properly.
  8. Okay, this is what I tried but it just doesn't seem to work. Thermostat test - [iD 0022][Parent 0001][Run At Startup] If From 8:00:00AM To 8:00:00AM (next day) Then Repeat Every 1 minute Set Scene 'Thermostat' Query Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  9. I tried to get this one to work but it doesn't seem to be working. Thermostat test - [iD 0022][Parent 0001] If From 12:00:00AM To 12:00:00PM (same day) Then Set Scene 'Thermostat' Query Repeat Every 1 minute Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  10. What, you mean you can't read my mind? This is one of them. Thermostat Query - [iD 0021][Parent 0001][Not Enabled][Run At Startup] If Time is 12:00:00AM Or Time is 12:30:00AM Or Time is 1:00:00AM Or Time is 1:30:00AM Or Time is 2:00:00AM Or Time is 2:30:00AM Or Time is 3:00:00AM Or Time is 3:30:00AM Or Time is 4:00:00AM Or Time is 4:20:00AM Or Time is 4:40:00AM Or Time is 5:00:00AM Or Time is 5:20:00AM Or Time is 5:40:00AM Or Time is 6:00:00AM Or Time is 6:15:00AM Or Time is 6:30:00AM Or Time is 6:45:00AM Or Time is 7:00:00AM Then Set Scene 'Thermostat' Query Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  11. Well, I figured it out but is there any way to put the times in faster than adding each one individually?
  12. Unless I go into the console and query my thermostat every so often my thermostat reading is not accurate. It may show 71 on the thermostat readout on the wall but on any devices it shows something different until I go into the console and query it. Can anyone guide me to a place or help me to setup a program to get my thermostat to query every 10 minutes or so? I have set up programs before but then I don't do it for several years and forget. Thanks.
  13. I use my laptop by just using the isy finder and that works great. Is there no way to do that with the phone too?

  16. I have bucked the world for many years and just finally decided to break down and buy a phone. I have the galaxy S7. Is there an easy way to control the isy when I am on the road? Thanks.

  18. Does insteon not have a thermostat the has a color screen and wifi?
  19. So when you say folder, do you mean scenes? Is that considered a folder?
  20. What if I have the old one in scenes in the main listing? Do I have to name the new one first?
  21. I have never had to replace a KPL before but have to now. What is the proper procedure so I can keep all of my settings from the old one? What are some things I will need to do if I have the old one in scenes? Where can I find a tutorial on this? Thanks.
  22. These switches are 6 years old or more. That is probably the problem. Some of the switches that had the old problem. I think I'll just order the new ones and see what happens.
  23. Yes, Paul, I have tried everything.
  24. Thanks, I didn't know how to edit that.
