I don't recall the ISY supporting 2fa?

I'd like to "Relay" something to you....
I too am confused as Mike's initial post states its for the: I have a ISY-994 iZ Pro which already uses Port A for the 2413 PLM. So how does this new *Relay* get connected to the ISY?

I'd like to "Relay" something to you....
I was hoping it was a combination of RF, WiFi, Ethernet. Being wired directly to the ISY would prove challenging for many people I believe. Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

Hello Mike, If this device has not been finalized I believe it needs to have a 30 amp relay instead. This will allow it to control more devices and have more flexibility in various environments and use case. ie. Hot Water Tank, Sump Pump,

Having Issues Adding New Devices?
You have a couple options for (long term reliability) upgrade your 2412, to the 2413 dual band PLM. Plug the On/Off module on the same circuit as the existing 2412 PLM and try again. If it adds into the ISY controller you can try to add the new RF devices you have on hand. Please keep in mind you should have installed your AP on one side of the electrical legs and the On/Off module to the other. Follow the coupling test outlined by the users manual to confirm proper bridging of the electrical system. Report Back.

Where can I buy the Z-Wave assembly kit if in Canada?
Just send them an email via sales and they will get you hooked up. Glad you stuck it out with the ISY Series Controller. You will have lots of flexibility with both hardware platforms. I am personally going to sit this Beta out until most of the bugs are sorted out. Also, waiting for v5.0 which will allow two way communications to two ISY controllers which will allow me to have both energy management and Insteon / Z-Wave. Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

Where can I buy the Z-Wave assembly kit if in Canada?
First I am a little confused as I read you returned the ISY Series Controller last week?? Regardless, you can purchase the Z-Wave module directly from UDI. There is no need for a middle man and there is no other company that sells the upgrade kit at the current time.

Everything turned ON suddenly...
What does the physical sticker indicate this new PLM as? Also, what firmware does the ISY say it has in it?

Repair of 2413S PLM When the Power Supply Fails
Once you open up the 2413S PLM you will be able to see the parts that need to be replaced. The board is well labeled as to each capacitor. Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

Raspberry Pi and ISY +
All of this is open source so long as you're not trying to make cash on someone else's back it's supposed to be OK. Anyways since we are all collective members even if someone was making some small cash. Would anyone really expect to see someone rat a member out? [emoji35] Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

I think we're doing it wrong.
Still don't know if the whole thing is a joke or for reals? If real, its a great option for others to use. If fake well someone had lots of fun making this video to practice their video art! I am unimpressed and see no real value in this device as it comes across as dumb, lacking in status, and it really looks cheap and toyish. But what do I know I'm just a big kid after all LOL! 7 zone 2441TH Thermostat setup
The link I provided you for the 1 wire sensors will be fine if painted. If your intent is to measure (physical) devices I would humbly suggest you do one of two things to ensure as much contact and accuracy. You can take any computer related heat sink material (arctic silver) and apply it to the area and wrap it in some sort of insulation. For my outside water pipes I simply taped ( head of sensor ) with aluminum foil tape and it conducts the heat / cold superbly and allows the transfer of temp to stabilize without outside air influences. Wire ties and staples to hold it to the rafters to secure the cable run. Keep us all in the loop as to your next steps and final solution. Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

2852-222 Leak Sensor linking issue
Before you move forward remove the device from the ISY. Hard reset the device to factory settings outlined in the manual. Once done add it back in and run the trace again and let us know and upload the level 3 trace. I would reboot the ISY afterwards for good measure. Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

I think we're doing it wrong.
I don't have the time to go review the site so how is this all done in a nut shell? I assume its connected to something like IFTT? If so all of these people getting on this bandwagon is really getting old. I have seen quite a few projects that promised the moon but failed epically in all other aspects. Insight . . .

7 zone 2441TH Thermostat setup
A: I believe this is the best balance of fail over, costs, and reliability. C: I agree with others that your money is better spent in the DIN module opposed to the Insteon I/O Linc. E: In my home the ceiling fans, remote fans, over head range, and central exhaust all play a major role in maintaining temperature and overall air quality. Installing ceiling fans are something you can take advantage anytime but allows great flexibility with out the use of the HVAC system which reduces over all costs. D: All you need to do is either change the ISY program for the seasons in question or simply copy the same programs and change their values to reflect the seasons in which they operate. Again, this was just an alternate view of doing the same thing but on a much cheaper budget and with better value / performance. There are many other ways to accomplish this goal but wanted to offer you my use case and how I was able to accomplish it with the devices I listed and lots of help from a good friend and master ISY programmer Xathros and others. P.S. This is the vendor I have been purchasing my 1 wire sensors from. He has been a stellar seller and the sensors are first rate. You simply can not get 10 sensors for $16.74 USD cheaper anywhere in the world, none! http://www.ebay.com/itm/130702483183?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Motion sensor help, any examples out there?
I totally agree on all points and hopefully v5.0 firmware will close the gap in terms of UI and program logic ease. Keep in mind regardless of the weakness in the current programming logic you and I have the power to ask UDI to make a change. This sort if interaction and feed back will never be seen from Smarthome or from anyone directly from the Insteon dev team. Please take a few moments to provide your feedback in the UI enhancements forum. Keep plugging along! Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

Motion sensor help, any examples out there?
As indicated the ISY can be as dumb as you like and compares to the HUB well. If you want more control, features, logic, it will surpass the HUB in every way. But it's not a point and shoot event as you're finding out now. The programming logic is not simple when lots of conditions are called into play. But either is life . . . It takes time, effort, and personal trial to learn and apply what you know. Encrypted By: Phoenix Security Solutions

Repair of 2413S PLM When the Power Supply Fails
If no one steps up to the plate for the Canadian guys I will break down and get the parts. ISY Links / comparison seems wrong
1+ I have to agree displaying information no matter how accurate without context will only lead to confusion, lower customer satisfaction, and higher support calls / tickets. A pop up message or some kind of contextual help message to indicate these types of mismatches can be safely ignored as they are not (in the big picture) a mismatch. Information needs to be relayed to the masses so even the lay person can understand and comprehend what they are looking at. It should not require anyone to come on to the forums to find out this is something that can be safely ignored.
