Looking for water sensor
I am looking to add a few water sensors to my Eisy/Zmatter environment. I've seen problems albeit a year ago here with ZSE42 and Aoetec sensors. Are those issues resolved? Anyone have a suggestion for a solid product that works today?

Zooz TITAN WATER VALVE ACTUATOR ZAC36 LR?
I decided to return this actuator as my plumbing was not as 'clean' as their instruction video. They suggested adding an extension kit which I did not want to do. I'm going to look for just some water sensors I can add to my Eisy/Zmatter environment and trust in alerts and being able to get to the valve somewhat quickly.

Zooz TITAN WATER VALVE ACTUATOR ZAC36 LR?
Thanks @Jimbo.Automates. I just ordered a kit version from thesmartesthouse.com that had the valve actuator and 2 zse42 water sensors that was cheaper than just the actuator on Amazon. Amazon is great but not always the low price. i have not installed any Z-wave devices yet. Are there some installation tutorials somewhere?

Zooz TITAN WATER VALVE ACTUATOR ZAC36 LR?
Does anyone have any experience with this water valve actuator and an EISY with Zwave addon? This looks like a great solution for worry free vacations or people who go south for the winter. Any info appreciated? Thanks.

Help from Resideo?
I tried a multiple occasions and never got a response. I finally sold my Honeywell thermostats and bought Ecobee’s. Work great and easily interface with EISY.

Setup Failed on Last Step
No, I did not. I sold my Honeywell thermostats and replaced them with Ecobee. Very happy with them. And they interface to the EISY though a plugin with no problem.

Garage Door button not working properly

Garage Door button not working properly
@Javi I'm currently at 5.8.0 so I hit the Upgrade Packages button on the Configuration/System tab. Not sure how'll I'll know when it's done. I have to run out now so I'll check it later.

Garage Door button not working properly
I am running UD Mobile v1.1.64 now. I defined this push button on my Favorites tab to activate my garage door opener. It used to work every time. I assume this started having a problem after some previous update to UD Mobile but I don’t know which version. This first screen shot shows my Favorite tab items. The item in question is Garage Door Button. When I first defined it, it would activate the opener. Now when I press it, it takes me to the Edit screen shown in the next screen shot. If I just exit out of the Edit screen and press it again, it works. Ideas on how to fix?

UD Mobile for Mac latest update
@javi I have not upgraded the PG3 firmware yet. I went to do that now and UD Mobile on the Mac just blows up with a dump on the screen. Suggestions?

UD Mobile for Mac latest update
I just updated UD Mobile on my Mac to the latest version, 1.1.53 (186). When I click on the Notifications button, I get this pop-up: When I click on Yes, I get this: I canceled out. Should I click "Force Upgrade"?

3-Way Switch Wiring
Well I double checked against this diagram and went ahead it with. All is well and working with a dual controller scene.

3-Way Switch Wiring
I've read the older posts on 3-way wiring INSTEON switches and I think I get it but I don't want to mess this up. I will greatly appreciate your patience as I ask this. Please excuse the not great photos but I thought they helped. Here is Box A. It has: Line coming in (2nd from left) 1 Single pole switch (left most) 3 3-way switches (on the right) The 3-ways are all wired the same way which I'd hope they would be. The bottom right wire is from the hot pigtail. The top right wire (red) traveler wire. The bottom left wire (black) traveler wire. White goes to white pigtail. Here is Box B (just one example of one). The traveler incoming wires go to: red to lower left terminal on switch black to upper right terminal on switch white common tied to the common going to the light The bottom right black (load) wire goes to the light. So from another thread I read here, I copied this below and I hope have it right for my situation. This is what I need confirmed or changed. (All 3 of the 3-way switches are the same so it shouldn't matter which one I do as long as I match it to the right Box B.) So the resulting wiring in Box A looks like this: 2477D black wire ties into black wire pigtail 2477D white wire ties into white wire pigtail 2477D red wire is capped Red traveler wire in Box A is capped And in Box B: 2477D black wire tied to traveler black wire 2477D red wire tied to black wire going to light fixture 2477D white wire tied to white wire going to light fixture Red traveler wire coming into Box B is capped Does this make sense? Correct? If not, what changes? Thanks so much for the help in advance. I've always gotten great support from this group.

Open Discussion: Themostats - what is working with EISY?
My first Ecobee thermostat came yesterday. I installed it and it's working great so far. Last night, I installed the Ecobee node server/plugin by @Jimbo.Automates and that is working great too. I like some of the features the Ecobee has although it has no inherent geofence capabilities for IOS devices. You have to use the Apple Home app. I can't find any definitive definition on how the Apple geofence works but it is not customizable. This is why I'm hoping to use the UD geofence. Hopefully @Javi will figure out why my wife's iPhone 13 doesn't always report in/out of the geofence. My 2nd Ecobee with remote sensor comes today. I'll get that installed and added into the Ecobee and UD environments. Stay tuned.

ZMatter Installation
Doing the factory reset worked. Thanks @tlightne!

ZMatter Installation
No, I didn’t. How would I know to do that? It comes with NO instructions. Are you talking about the Ministon device or the USB Zmatter device?

ZMatter Installation
I just got my ZMatter USB add-on for my Eisy. I connected the antennae correctly, plugged it into the left-most USB port on the Eisy, and rebooted the Eisy. My AC now shows both the Z-wave and Zigbee menu items. But I cannot add a Z-wave device. I have Minoston MP21Z plug outlets. I have plugged one in, went to the Z-wave menu and selected Add a Z-wave Device. It goes into device discovery mode (see attached). I push the on/off button on the Minoston outlet 3 times quickly to put it in pairing mode but nothing happens. It blinks 3 times and goes back to solid blue. The Eisy just stays in pairing mode and doesn't add anything. What am I missing? There are no instructions with this this add-in which would be nice.

Open Discussion: Themostats - what is working with EISY?
So I ordered one Ecobee through my electric provider with a $75 discount. Then I ordered a refurbished Ecobee and remote sensor from Ecobee + got another 10% of from a working coupon code. I can’t wait any longer to replace these Honeywell T9’s. Will report back here on my transition experiences.

Open Discussion: Themostats - what is working with EISY?
@lilyoyo1 I am with you on simplifying things (although my wife doesn’t think the home automation stuff is simple LOL). I can get one Ecobee for $75 off thru my electricity provider. I still need another one with a remote sensor and I hate to pay full price so I’ll keep watching for sales. Can you elaborate on your “control 4 system”? What is that? Thanks!

Open Discussion: Themostats - what is working with EISY?
@Scott Korvek all valid comments and things to think about. To use the Venstar API, I have to have the skill to write some code to use it - correct? I might be past that at this point. They do offer Skyport although I have not looked at subscription costs. That is a really good thing to factor into this equation: cloud service subscription fees and node server fees. Thanks.

Open Discussion: Themostats - what is working with EISY?
@Bumbershoot and @Scott Korvek Thanks for the info on the Venstar thermostats. Looks like the 5200 is no longer available and the 7850 is the choice. Looks like it's a choice (for me) between Ecobee and Venstar. I'm done with Honeywell. I know others use it and it works fine. I have just had less than positive experiences with the Resideo app. So now I start looking for sales on Ecobee and Venstar.
