  1. I didn’t check the scenes I just assumed it changed them with the replace function. It’s always worked fine. I’ll check today and post back.
  2. I had to replace a 2477D and it seemed to work fine. (Bathroom wall light) when I give Alexa the voice command turn on bathroom X% (scenes I’ve created) it doesn’t react. if I say bathroom wall it does respond. do I have to remove and replace the device in each scene or have I missed something?
  3. Everything seems to be working again. I'm unclear why it didn't and now why it does. I'm assuming bit by bit the gear of old will become obsolete and we'll buy new stuff. I'm really hoping the EISY will control all the lighting and A/V gear etc and other things (ceiling fans, other WIFI enabled stuff around the house) I'm not a big fan of having to have Alexa handle some thing and not the EISY
  4. I asked Alexa to turn on the blu ray scene (a/v gear and a lighting scene) and it just changed the lights but didn’t trigger any of the gear. I have the harmony hub and when I get back home I’ll see if the remote triggers everything correctly
  5. I should add timers and scenes work fine. (maybe not timers, I’ll have to check but a few lights that should have shut off this morning didn’t)
  6. I have two Apple TV set ups. When I ask Apple TV upstairs to start (this phrase triggers a bunch of a/v gear and changes the lights) it said apple tv is in a mode that doesn't accept requests when I ask the downstairs Apple TV to turn on it says ‘enjoy the movie’ as it should but then doesn’t trigger any gear is there an outage or something up with some AWS or the portal?
  7. I have not. I know where those tabs are but that's about it
  8. I've never used STATEs before. This doesn't look simple 🤣 I'm not sure where I'd start
  9. I have a handful of those Eightree/Teckin/whatever their name is this week round smart plugs you can buy on Amazon. I can control them through Alexa voice control but I'd love to control them with my Insteon mini remote. I have the EISY and was wondering if thats now possible? Andrew
  10. I apologize for the double post (I posted over on ISY994 by accident) I need to get ten puck style potlights for a front porch reno. I have used the Votatec slim pots inside and they work well. I've had electricians come in with other brands of LED slim pots and they flash constantly. I know a bit of flickering at certain percentages will happen regardless but the others just pulse constantly until theyre 100%. Any brands I can try here in Canada?
  11. I switched out the old Ethernet switch with the new one and the problem persists. I know it’s not the EISY because I can plug the EISY (or one of the affected devices plugged into the switch) directly in the router and it works fine. No need for an EISY ticket to be opened. now I get to state at a pile of gear and try to figure out what failed. thanks for the responses guys. Andrew
  12. In the app. theres there’s the alert triangle and it says error restarting connection disconnected over and over
  13. For some odd reason I got this message Connection Type: AuthPortal. 503 Controller not online or not communicating with Universal Devices Portal. Verify your System is connected to network. Try reboot I’ve tried to unplug, wait, then reboot but no luck. as an a side (maybe not related) my Apple TV 4 works but won’t access web stuff (Netflix YouTube) even though it shows it’s still connected to wifi. (just adding extra info in case it helps) both are plugged into the same Ethernet switch. I’m not sure how to check to see if that burned out (if that’s even the right word or possible)
  14. Works like a dream. thank you guy.
  15. That would be the piece I’m missing. I’ll try that and post back.
  16. I tried the remove and replace and no luck. When I get back I'll a Factory reset and restore device and post back with the results. Thanks
  17. It's a simple scene. I have KPL button H triggering the lights in a hutch I have the button as a controller and as a responder I assumed when the light is on (triggered from another scene) the LED should be on but it isnt. I'm not sure what I've done wrong
  18. I'll renew today. I'm a little under a week away
  19. Thanks for this. My renewal is in a few weeks. If I renew early does it just auto renew on my expiry date or at the time of renewal?
  20. Thank you. Just checking.
  21. I have the eisy
  22. Hi guys Every time I renew I sign up for two years (solely for convenience) I just received my alert to renew and I only see one year options. Am I missing something or is the two year option no longer available? Andrew
  23. Hi Paul, Thanks, this worked. I factory reset both affected devices and its all good.
  24. I’m not sure. How would I look for that?
  25. I cleared and factory reset the remote. I just added it back in to the EISY and it still behaves the same as before. What's the next step?
