Mini remote shuts off device its not linked to
Hi Techman Thanks for the reply. I've resolved all writes and the problem seems to persist. As an aside, I programmed the B button on the remote and the GUI says the device is changing but the device doesn't react either. Should I delete the remote from my EISY and rediscover it?

Mini remote shuts off device its not linked to
Just wanted to add that another device (a SWL upstairs) also shuts off when I click the remote button. The devices don't turn back on when I repeat click but the intended device works as it should. Both devices that are affected (and shouldn't be) don't show any percentage or on/off change in the EISY GUI (apologizes for the spamming, just want to get all the info I have typed out here.)

Mini remote shuts off device its not linked to
Sorry for the vague title. I have a very simple scene where a SWL and a button on the mini remote control the SWL. When pressed, the mini remote controls the device as expected but it also shuts off my office downstairs (button A on a KPL) I've included screen grabs to the remote's button and the KPL button's Membership. I'm unclear what to do next

Cannot log into ISY Portal -- error 429
I had to relink but everything seems to be back. Thanks to whoever fixed it. and don’t scare us like that again

Cannot log into ISY Portal -- error 429
I’m not sure if this is just a system glitch (it seems coincidental as far as timing) or if it’s just me but when I ask Alexa to trigger an EISY lighting scene (or anything EISY) it tells me ”the skill linked with ____ is not enabled. Please enable the skill to control this device.’

Alexa triggered scenes/ programs arent working suddenly
I rebooted everything (including the Harmony hub) and it seems to work now. I know I didn’t see much traffic on this post but I’d like to keep a dialogue open where the old A/V gear control is heading and what solutions everyone has. I love being able to give the home voice commands for pretty much everything and wouldn’t want to lose that ability.

Alexa triggered scenes/ programs arent working suddenly
I should add the Alexa unit now says Apple TV is in a mode that doesn’t accept requests. Please check the app or the settings

Alexa triggered scenes/ programs arent working suddenly
I tried to sign in and found this. but when I go to my.iso.io it says I'm still active until March 2025 (in case this helps)

Alexa triggered scenes/ programs arent working suddenly
I'll give you guys some info first. I have a Harmony Hub connected to connecting blocks that have IR blasters attached to my AV gear (receivers, Apple tvs, projector/tv etc) When I say "Alexa, turn on Apple TV downstairs" she says "enjoy the movie" (programmed in the Alexa iOS app) and the EISY changes the lights and the Harmony hub blasts everything to turn on the AV gear. I have a similar program/routine for upstairs. Last night they worked fine. Today they are not. The lights change appropriately but the AV gear doesn't turn on at all. I have the old Harmony remotes and they trigger the scene/AV gear just fine. I'm assuming the problem is cloud/internet based? Maybe AWS is down? This again brings me to this post of mine Will the EISY one day replace all our 'smart home' stuff and be the hub that controls everything? I'd love that. Especially as EISY has this forum (one of the best forums out there IMO) and most other companies have a help email that takes forever, replies with FAQ answers, etc) Andrew

See when a device was last triggered
Hi Greg. Thanks for the tips. I tried both but I still don't see why the Lamplinc is triggering in the middle of the night. I'm wondering if it's an old program it still remembers. Is there a way to make sure theres no obsolete programming actually stored in the Lamplinc? (if thats even possible)

See when a device was last triggered
Is there a way to see when a device was last turned on? I have a Lamplinc that for some reason turns on in the middle of the night. I cant see it in any timers etc. I was thinking if I could see when it clicked on I could have a better time isolating the issue.

State of GUI and devices differ
The bulbs all work properly. When I tell Alexa to turn on the device she responds as it should but in the scene(s) it doesn't. It used to just fine so I'm unsure what new interference there is.

State of GUI and devices differ
I have a few scenes with a LampLinc that doesn't turn the light on. The GUI and the iPhone App both show the device changing as it should but the light doesn't turn on. I tried removing the device from one of the scenes and putting it back in but that didn't seem to reset it. Any ideas would be great

IoX not found on boot. Refresh finds one of the two options
Hi Paul. Thanks for the reply. I was wondering about that. I’m not sure why the GUI doesn’t find the ISY until I refresh it. Any thoughts?

IoX not found on boot. Refresh finds one of the two options
When I click on the icon to start the GXUI it now says Not Found and when I refresh it finds it. It used to have two options (LAN and something else) but only the LAN shows up now. Obviously I have functionality but I'm not sure if this is the start of something bigger.

Programs and Alexa commands don’t work.
It seems my issues are back again. I'm sending my 2314U to Aartech to get tested for replacement if they find anything wrong with it. I have an old 2314S but I know I need an adaptor to use it with my EISY Is this what I want? https://www.amazon.ca/BENFEI-Ethernet-Compatible-Notebook-Windows7/dp/B08KWC7D78/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?crid=1RGF6CZ5PI5TP&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.cnPCHQf58jiLA44xLX-icWV_nr9ZD9CKXYOZBByfT2ibRKyk8DyLOazxDfAlAAD3XNB7Cbk995y21UQIEMw9hEOwi4P9WYQoZgx4f5hrts9y7kd_sv1kazC_2pZroRnxfieWFQfQoXwCbZm2D1J_DmTuNaRSw5acvJo_40noTWLui605xVfhduE85hEZl-HAO5Pvqw-j_eFwJP8dmkVTgotu4JTyO7jm_MwqAFKB-RDcdIsEuk2BGtVLc9QflEMY1wIF15NJnbrrhX9su4Mo9P6Hq43Y1a3f1uUZaxsZaU8.MdK00S_Rr8y9n2Fl9lmgHU2Ya8aCltC9kD0MY5uvfGs&dib_tag=se&keywords=rj45%2Bto%2Busb&qid=1725638391&sprefix=rj45%2B%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-3-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1 (apologies for the double post, internet here is garbage today)

Programs and Alexa commands don’t work.
My issue have come back again. I'm sending my 2314U to Aartech for them to test it to see if its the problem. I do have a 2314S here that I can use in the meantime but I need a different connector to hook it up to my EISY. I believe its RJ45 (maybe, I'm not sure) to USB A it looks like. I'm just asking for confirmation that's what I need to try to find online. I'm also assuming it's an Amazon thing? Drew

Programs and Alexa commands don’t work.
I just wanted to reply and say what helped my issue. I'm back up and running after opening a ticket. I rebooted and everything is back. Last time I did this I unplugged both PLM and EISY, plugged in PLM, waited, etc but I must have screwed that up. (yes that hurts to admit) but one thing I don't have anymore is my desktop shortcut. I have this icon I have to click on in my downloads folder Anyway to get the shortcut back?

Programs and Alexa commands don’t work.
I'm having the same issues again. I've tried the solution above but it doesn't seem to work. I've contacted Aartech and they've said theres a 2 year warranty on the 2314U but they want to troubleshoot first. I'm not sure what more I can do. Is there anything else I can try? Is there a way I can definitely make sure the PLM is failing? Its only 6 months old.

Programs and Alexa commands don’t work.
Unplug the PLM, wait for a minute then hold the power button on the EISY until it turned red. Then release and press again. It'll turn blue and reboot.
