Hi im setting up so I can use UD Mobile as a remote. It would really help if there were many more icons like the Apple logo, Netflix, others. Is it possible to add these?

ahh - got it! thank you. To avoid this you might want to update the documentation to explicitly say on the ELK...then again I may the only one that didn't understand.

here is the event log when I press the arm away button It also creates this on the node server front I have restarted the node server with the same impact and this is the node server log my user code is 90...a completely random number per instructions. Please let me know if there is something I need to change thank you

little more info. Validated that there doesn't seem to be any issues with the ELK or mobile access (with ekeypad I am able to control the ELK). One question - don't I need to enter the login credentials somewhere (I know I need to with ekeypad)

just used the ctrl click approach for adding devices to a scene...the #2 suggestion is no longer needed given this...can't believe I missed this !

@lilyoyo1 additional context - if I have the following 3 scenes All off Kitchen All off Dining RM All off Living Rm and I wanted to create an All Off 1st Floor scene I can either add all the devices to this new scene individually OR I could embed the 3 scenes listed above into the All off 1st Floor. That way if I added/removed something from All off Kitchen it would automatically be inherited by the All Off 1st Floor scene. This wouldn't need to be dependent on the device the IOP can have the logic needed to ensure that The All off 1st fl scene writes the same way whether it has all the devices individually included or the 3 scenes embedded. Should be able to right click on a scene and see Add devices to the scene...with that a device picker comes up (or something like that) the things you learn! thank you EDITED: for clarity

three things: This is something that I've wanted since I first started using Scenes. An ability to embed a scene in another scene. This would dramatically simplify the management of scenes, reducing time and errors. Add new devices from the scene itself Ability to add multiple devices to a scene at once (understanding that the writing to devices needs to be serial, but could simplify the human clicks and time if this was enabled)

Hi, having an issue with the communication between polisy/IOP and the Elk. I get a timeout message in Polisy using these configuration parameters.

@Techmantried your suggestion, and although it didn't work it helped lead to the solution. I swapped out an on/off switch and linked it to the system, then restored. that worked. So following techmans advice for the remaining devices I factory rested, (here's the added step) linked them like a new device and picked the middle option to delete all links, then restored device. Everything is working as it should. thank you for your help. also a big thank you to Michael for the remote support!

progress. Had a remote session and was able to upgrade the IOP version and BIOS. Also, identified that the PLM issue was with the cable. Got a new cable today, and most things are working, except: 1011 error on two keypads, and one on/off switch. I tried write update to device several times on these with no change. I also tried restore device and no change. Two keypads that were working on the ISY still get the message that can't communicate. If i disable and enable I get the 1011 error. If I try to write updates or restore devices it goes back to unable to communicate. All of these were working with the ISY, any suggestions?

unplugged and replugged the polisy. took a very, very long time to come back on line (approx two days!). However, it still shows version 5.4.5 so it didn't update. Changed the cable just in case that was the issue - same issues persist. Should I try the upgrade again (little nervous given how long and unsuccessful this was, so hoping there is an alternative path)? th

@Techmani pressed the update package...and so far the IOX finder can't see anything, and when I go into the polisy (through the ip address for PG3 and it still shows 5.4.5) i was going to unplug and replug in the polisy, but don't know if I should give it more time....its been a couple of hours.

also confirmed that its showing PLM not connected. so far there was one time that it was connected and got about 1/3 of the devices successful connected, but other then that, no luck. I was using this same PLM successfully with ISY

okay - so did as you said. Re-read the polisy guide. Realized had moved PLM to a plug on a UPS, moved it back to the original plug. Restart IOP and seemed promissing, although many devices with 1011 issue. Restored devices and all devices showed cannot communite with <device name> Looks like I am at the Restore PLM step, but wanted to check if there was anything I'm missing before I do this. appreciate everyone's help.

I have upgraded both and I have done a restore ISY on IOP, and the Polisy is still showing

so ISY version is too low...need to upgrade first. thank you

yes - insteon is checked. Same PLM.
