Please restart the plugin, set Log to Debug, wait a minute then turn on a zone, wait about 10 seconds and if Watering doesn't change to On, the query the device, then when it changes to On do a "Download Log Package" and PM it to me.

That's odd because I created the below program to test and I get notifications very quickly after a zone turns on or off. I copied those instructions directly from the UDI instructions and didn't confirm they were correct, I'll update them. Does your Rachio Bridge look like this?

I see my controller and zone status change to watering very quickly after a zone turns on. Did you enable Portal webhooks as mentioned in the configuration page? Since 5.x is not officially released I hadn't posted those instructions yet. Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk

Hopefully my changes will help you. I'm going to assume that you didn't open a port on your router as detailed in the instructions so the rachio plugin only updates the current status on longPoll. It queries the rachio service in longPoll to get the latest status, but if you have the port open and working then it will update status within a second or two. You can't make it poll more often because rachio will block you once you hit the daily limit. My changes will use the UDI portal instead of having to open a local port. @majkman and @vspete, Please try to restart the plugin. With @bmercier assistance I made some changes to the store database. Let me know if that fixes it.

He was actually asking how to tell the "Edition" and "Type" so it's easy to know if it's the Free version or not. I spoke with @bmercier and he said that will be in the next PG3X release.

Rachio Plugin Users, The first change I intend to make with the Rachio plugin is to use the Portal for webhooks instead of requiring opening a local port. I plan to get rid of support for using a local port and I hope nobody has an issue with this. For any other requests please add an issue on the udi-rachio-poly issues page, but if you don't have a github account you can mention the issue in this thread and I'll try to keep track of them. - Jim

Your original post didn't contain the PG3X log file. Please PM it to me and I'll look. If you can't download log package, then I suspect PG3 had an error installing the plugin.

IF you go to Polyglot UI -> Plugins Store -> Notification does it show "Standard" installed in your slot like this?

Did you install the paid version? I don't remember how that works, and not home right now to look at my system.

The heartbeat is the only thing done on longPoll which is a way to monitor that the plugin is alive by checking for DON/DOF on the controller. I'll update the code to increase the longPoll if it's less than the shortPoll. Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk

It could be a config option, but personally it makes more sense to me for it to be controllable as a driver because you can now also set short poll from a driver as well. This way it can be changed to longer polls when slow updates are ok, and shorter polls when you want faster updates. The plugin will only change the value if Auto mode is on, otherwise it should not be changing. If you are seeing something else then let me know and I'll look into it when back home again.

Version 1.2.2 changes the default for Auto Short Poll to False, so now it will stay false if you have that set, and will stay True if you change it to True. I'll think about saving the timestamp, but the effort required isn't worth it right now, many other things to work on in my spare time, and personally I just ignore the issue since it shortly corrects itself.

So @bpwwer made the updates for PG3 and it hasn't been touched since. Original author was @fahrer16 if neither of those guys are currently supporting adding enhancements I can take it over, with their permission.

Need a program for each if s_zone1Duration <= 0 or s_zone1Duration > 0 then s_zone1Duration (init) = s_zone1Duration This will run anytime the variable changes and updates it's init value.

Fixed in 3.1.1, that was the only change.
