So I want to open the garage door when "in-range". I have the old garage door kit from insteon with the sensor. Is there any way that the system can check that the door is already opem (sensor open) and only send the command if it is closed?

Under "Node Servers" (Eisy), "Ring", then "Add all nodes", it wont load anything with ring on the left side. Everything is active in the portal. Any ideas?

I have successfully switched to Eisy. But I am now noticing that often, the programs become disabled. I have to manually re-enable all of them, Is there something that that i am missing that could be causing that?

Real dumb question. I have poking around looking to get the nose servers for Ring and MyQ. Where is the store please? And is the required PG3x there available for purchase?

So just an update to this so that someone else may benefit. All I had to do was to set the upper and lower limit: Connect the Zwave blinds to the Eisy: Add it to the Portal through Alexa. If you select "Device\Set-Lower-Raise", then you are all set. You can set it to 1% - 100% and everything in between with your voice. Nothing in the below has to change. I still dont know what some of those things are but its working the way I want it to. I also have a program for them to come to 50% every morning and close every evening to 0% .

They are Bali shades. Zwave with the new Zmatter attached to Eisy. It worked great with the ISY but that set up looked different. I cant figure out how to set these.

Good Afternoon! Just set up Eisy. Trying to understand the shades. Zwave found them fine. It shows it as a class c motor control. There are different levels of percentages (which I assume is 0% for closed and 100% for full open). I have a program set up to put them at 50% in the morning. But I am not sure how to set up all of these boxes showing percentages and fade rates. Any help would be appreciated. When I select "on" shouldnt it go to 50%?

Disregard. I figured it out. I have a fanlinc on that light and didnt have it in the scene.

Hello - It has been awhile since I have played with the system, and I have a situation that I cant figure out. I have a 4-way switch (1 KPL and 2 switchlincs). I have them wired correctly - the light works when any one of them are selected. I have them in a scene in the control panel. When I turn on the scene they dont come on. In addition, each item individually selected "on" does not turn the light on either. I am wanting to use the portal to set up Alexa to control them. What am I missing?

I see what you are saying. ,,I had the MS as a controller in the scene. I removed it and it seems to work fine. For some reason, I was thinking they both had to be in the scene. Thanks for the help.

So I gues I lied - I can down this morning, and it is well after 1 hour after sunrise. And the lamp came on. Why is the program not honoring the time limitations?

Thank you all very much! Changing it from "adjust Scene" to "Device" and selecting scene, I was able to get it to work correctly. I hope this helps someone else.

Can someone please tell me why this doesnt work? if ( from 1 hour before sunset to 1 hour after sunrise next day ) and Control 'office motion detector - sensor' is switched on Then in scene 'Matts Office Light' Set 'office lamp' 100% wait 10 minutes In scene 'Matts Office Light' Set 'office lamp' 0% It keeps turning on OUTSIDE of those times when motion is detected and "then" doesnt trigger. I am thinking about an irrigation system installation. Is there a particular controller I need to ask the installers for that will will work with the ISY? I have read about EZFlora - but is that an add on AFTER the controller is installed or that IS the controller? Thanks!

I have both - Google is much better at information and maps The Prime music with Alexa is superior although Home works great with Pandora. Alexa has a 3.5 mm jack that I can use for my whole house audio (very cool!) I like the "morning information" with home with just one inquiry (news, weather, traffic, etc) Home will probably be the winner once the Bluetooth gets activated (sounds like soon) Home I find is a little faster through the ISY Home sounds better than Echo I do like all of the skills with Echo (majority are probably useless though) So far - Home is my choice.

Let me play with this. But even if it retriggers, wouldnt that just reset the wait? Looking at the logs, this thing triggers earlier in the night (morning) like 1 am. Then I wake up in the morning and they are still on. Except the dining room light.

I think the 2 programs is the answer. But let me make sure my statement "And Control 'Front House Security-S' is switched On" is correct. This is a MS. Any issues with that? It seems to turn everything on fine - It is just the turning off that is the problem.
