MobiLinc to ISY Portal Transition
Michael, This is what is in my URLPrefix: /is/https://my.isy.io/isy/c7dd8a31601da604.................and a whole bunch of other numbers and letters. I suspect these are not sensible.

MobiLinc to ISY Portal Transition
Hi Dennis, Thanks! I have made those changes - I understand now. But I "run" ISY-Set_Car-Exit now and the error is bigger - meaning more "stuff" in the error message. here is something. When I go to my VARS, I have 4 items instead of 3. I have an additional one called %URLPrefix. I am not sure how that got there. Could that be the problem? Thanks again!

MobiLinc to ISY Portal Transition
Getting the screenshot from my Android to the board here is proving a challenge. So I will try to reproduce I below. But one of things you guys made me think about was the email address. There was something in the Wiki that I didn't quite understand so I breezed past it. The error below kind of eludes to it. So I wonder if this is contributing to the error. If you use the ISY Portal - you must URL encode the username (since it has a @ in it). @ encodes to %40. I didn't do this because I am not sure what it means. So in the lists of "meta-tasks" - it tells me to "test" - Manually run the 'ISY-Set-Car-Exit' task the first time (while not in the car!), and verify the 'In Car' variable changes from '2' to '0'. I was attempting to do that (I assumed by the little "play" button in the lower left hand corner) when I got this error: Error Input/Output error for http://192.168.1.250//rest/vars/set/2/2/%par2:java.io.IOException: invalid % sequence: %pa in path at index 40: http://192.168.1.250//rest/vars/set/2/2/%par2.

MobiLinc to ISY Portal Transition
MWareman and Michael - is there ANY easier app to configure on Android than tasker? I spent all afternoon following the WIKI instructions fro geofencing through the Portal (which I just recently purchased) and when testing the actions, I get an input/output error. I would have NO idea where to start tracing that down. I have been using mobilinc with port forwarding but that is only on my Ipad and I want to bring the geofencing capabilities to my android phone. Help!

UI
Thanks Larry - that worked great. I have always kept the firmware up to date but never realized that the console needed upgrading as well. Here is something interesting - I purchased the Portal just recently but I didn't have the console updated until today. Getting the Network module with a new portal purchase has a requirement to have 4.5.4 or above on the UI. I didn't have that until today. So I didn't get the Network module - anyway to retroactively get that?

ZWave
So quick question - I have gotten into the Zwave world yet but plan to shortly. I will be adding it to my ISY, Should this be able to communicate with dry contact items like the MiMO with no issues? Is the Zwave communicates from the ISY reliable? I have a 2 story house with the ISY in the basement - any issues with 2nd floor?

Alexa! - favourite uses and phrases
Paul - I haven't explored this one yet - with channels. Do you have a cable box or Satellite box? How did get the activity to change the channel to CNN?

Alexa! - favourite uses and phrases
I have realized that but even the on and off of all components without having to fumble with the remote is nice.

I am really enjoying the entertainment center skills with the logitech hub.

No Discovery
Disregard - I found it. I didn't have the ISY selected in "preferred" ISY box in the portal

No Discovery
I have looked for a solution but cant find one. Brand new to the Alexa world. Setup the Portal - added one device. Alexa says she cant find any devices. I followed the instruction explicitely EXCEPT I cant find ""connected home" in Alexa page under "Setting" But I see the ISY AND the device add added in the Portal. What am I missing? BTW - I added a Scene - not a device

IO Link
After much trial and error - I think I have it fixed. I have 2 offending devices on that circuit. That required me to buy 2 filterlincs. That pretty much solved the problem. I wish I could remove those items from the circuit but it just isn't possible. The only thing I am struggling with is my wireless remotelinc is not very reliable. I have to push the button 2, 3, and 4 times and move it around the room. Turning on the I/O with the admin panel works flawlessly. I suspect it is because I am still using the old 2440 remotelinc. And I do have a few dual-band devices in the same room. So I have never used filterlinc before - but it does work.

IO Link
So the CFL is not the problem. I removed it and got the same result. Based on your answer, can the links be completely removed and start over? I have factory reset the IO. I guess I still don't understand the updated PLM changes the comm problem. If I have a comm problem, it should have existed before - nothing has changed except a tv but after that was installed, it still worked flawlessly. Unfortunately - I am limited to this outlet because it is up on a fireplace and the low voltage wire goes across to the switch (on the inside of a drywall frame of a flume.

FanLinc 2475F Rev 1.9 Replace Hunter Fan Control?
I have had 2 replaced by Smarthome. When the 2nd one failed, I replaced my Hunter fan with another brand and have had no issues.

IO Link
Hello Changed PLM - Did it EXACTLY as the instructions indicated. Everything on the ISY looks fine and works except 1 IO Link. I have removed it from the ISY and when trying to re-add, it doesnt find it. I factory reset - same result. Any other ideas? It operats the item it is connected to when manually activating it. Thanks!

Thermostat
So here is an update - I think it is updating now. I did 3 things - don't know which one worked. 1) I had the ISY going through a network switch. I illiminated the switch and went direct to the Ethernet port (although, that Ethernet port eventually gets to a router). 2) Factory reset the Thermostat 3) Removed the Tstat from the ISY and re-added. Seems to be working.
