Thanks for the update, I appreciate it.

Where to get Polisy?
Maybe a dumb question, but I can't seem to find where to buy a Polisy? Have been using ISY since the beginning. Thinking about moving to Polisy, but I look at the UDI store and I don't see it? What am I missing? I assume I can run ISY on Polisy and replace my 994I/IR-PRO with a Polisy? Thanks for the help.

New Z-Wave User - Question on Nodes
Thanks for the info. There wasn't anything in the manual (folded paper that came with it) that talked about the nodes that I could find. So all I need is the on-Off Switch and just delete the rest?

New Z-Wave User - Question on Nodes
Got my new 500 dongle installed in my ISY and added my first device..."GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Plus Tamper Resistant Smart Outlet". Worked like a charm! My questions is: What are all the different nodes that it installed used for? It has: On-Off Power Switch Basic Scene Ctl 2 Basic Scene Ctl 3 Scene Button 1 Multilevel Switch Multilevel Switch 2 Multilevel Switch 3 I can use #1 in a scene and it turns on and off as expected....not sure what the others do? I searched to try and find some explanation, but didn't see anything. Can someone point me in a direction to read up on it or explain what these nodes do? Thanks.

Implementing Z-Wave - What receptacles to use?
Thanks! I went to that site and looked at it, but did not read the "Conformance Statement"...that was the ticket!

Implementing Z-Wave - What receptacles to use?
Thanks. I was trying to figure out how to determine if things support Beaming or not...is that a particular protocol or setting or something? In other words, from an ad...how do I know the GE support it...what do I look for? I am planning to install locks so I don't want to purchase devices that don't support it if my locks wont work without it. Thanks.

GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Plus Smart Motion Light Switch
Thanks for sharing this...I have a need for these once I get Z-Wave going here in the next few weeks (hopefully). I was wondering, my need is similar to your install above (but not exactly). I current have SW Dimmers installed that are not controlling a load, they are simply 2nd or 3rd switches in a 3 or 4 way setup. I would like to perhaps replace some of those with these here so I have motion in that area, however I do still want to control the light with the switch. I assume that would work as I would just add the Z-Wave switch to the Scene that the old SW Dimmer was in? Thanks.

Implementing Z-Wave - What receptacles to use?
Thanks @lilyoyo1, is this the GE one that you are referring to? It was one of the ones I put on my list. It is the Enbrighten 55256 Z-Wave Plus Smart Receptacle https://www.amazon.com/GE-Enbrighten-Controllable-SmartThings-14288/dp/B07361JZ2H/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=ge+zwave+receptacle&qid=1607887269&sr=8-4

Implementing Z-Wave - What receptacles to use?
Just got the 500 module and will be installing it into my 994i/IR PRO over my Christmas Vacation time (not much else to do...thanks Covid!). I was wondering if folks could recommend the make/model of receptacles I should buy to get this thing going? I am on the current firmware (5.3.0) and my network is currently all Insteon devices (126 of them), voice controlled by Alexa and works very solid. I have two areas where I am getting some signal loss in the power line and can't find it...but other than that, solid performance. My plan is to continue to use Insteon for 99.5% of my lighting but augment it with Z-Wave in the areas I am having trouble and replace some normal receptacles around the house for added convenience (get rid of the LampLinc bricks) and build the Z-Wave mesh. Also, if there is a particular style plug in module (like the LampLinc) I would be interested to know that as well. Or specific repeaters that are best (are there wire in ones that I can get?). Thanks

Did you ever get this sorted out? I just purchased the 500 module and plan to do the install...and foray into Z-Wave. However, I have a similar issue to you on the ISY type. It shows the wrong serial number and ISY99i/IR PRO...when in fact I have the ISY994i/IR PRO just like you and I get the same error when I try to add it "Not a valid serial number". Thanks.

Context-aware Alexa with an ISY
Thanks. I tried it and noticed a few things: When you create the Spoken in the ISY Portal, you can select a Scene and add it as a Device/Light...it then works in the group that is created in the Alexa App and will turn on the light with "Alexa Turn on the Light". However, When you create the Spoken in the ISY Portal, you can't select FAN when you select a scene (not sure why, you can pick any of the other categories!). So there does not seem to be a way to use a scene for the Fan. Since I using FanLincs, I have buttons created that set the desired fan speed...so selecting the Fanlinc device is not ideal for me really. I did add the FanLinc directly as a Device and picked FAN in the Spoken setup and it worked perfectly in the group. I am now able to turn on the light with "Alexa Turn on the Light" when I am in that room and "Alexa Turn on the Fan"...however, it turns on the Fanlinc to high speed...creating a wind tunnel! I will mess around more and see if I can figure out how to use the Fan as slow speed this way...but I did confirm that it works when referencing the FAN device directly and add it to the group. Thanks.

Context-aware Alexa with an ISY
Going through it again, I think my problem is that my devices are setup as scenes connected to Alexa. I use Alexa to activate the scenes rather than the device directly...perhaps I don't need to do that? If I just have her turn on the device directly (say a Switchlinc dimmer that is the controller for a scene) it would activate the scene properly anyway? I guess I can just try it...but if anyone has an advice, please let me know. Thanks.

Context-aware Alexa with an ISY
I noticed the same thing... @lilyoyo1 is using Google Home and not Alexa. I did notice that fan is setup as a secondary spoken for multiple devices...I have not tried that before, so I might reopen this effort here and try again. I could never get it to work correctly either and just gave up.

Automater Air Vents that work with ISY
No, I didn't. Had some health issues and haven't been back to it yet. If you find something, please post here and I will do the same. Thanks.

Thanks...good to go here as well.

Can't Access Alexa Skill
Yea, I will wait for a response as well. When I went to the Portal website I got the same error about the Certificate being invalid. I went to it anyway and could not get anything to load in the Alexa Connectivity area. I closed out and went back in and it now shows my devices and such, but still will not connect with Alexa.

Thanks for the link, but that is for the Programs...I am asking about the devices themselves in the main network tree. Thanks.

Admin Console Color Legend and Icon Legend
I thought I saw this at one time, but I can't find out...so I have to ask it here and hope someone has something. First, what do the colors mean in the main tab? There seems to be 4 colors, with 3 of them being most prominent and I can't seem to put a pattern to them: Blue - the ISY itself is blue, that's the only device that is (that I can see) Black - All folders and scenes that I have are black, many devices are black...but not all (see next two colors). Red - I have quite a few devices in various places, all are working fine. Does not seem to be any pattern. Some Switchlinc Dimmers, som Keypads, etc. Pink - Seems to be the devices themselves when not in a scene (either directly under ISY itself or in a folder)...but not always. I have some devices in the folder that display as black. In one example, the IO Sensor on my garage door, the input is pink and the output is black. Can anyone point me to some documentation on this or provide some input as to what these colors mean? Thanks.

Automater Air Vents that work with ISY
Thanks for the replies. @Bumbershoot thanks for pointing those out, but I have decided against this route. After a closer look at the system I have found that I have manual dampers on each of the take offs from the main trunk line. I am going to look to see if I can buy just the motor to drive these....not much of a stub sticking out to work with, but perhaps there is something out there made for it. I think doing it that way will be my best bet, similar to what you are going @Mustang65 except all of my vents are in the floor and the cold air returns are in the wall at floor level as well (they simply "blocked" into the joists and studs with sheet metal like many houses are. I basically have one truck running the length of the center of the basement and then take offs from there going to the various vents (look like 6 and 8" but I didn't measure them. The other thing I need to do is measure pressure in the trunk line and put in a bypass...as reducing air flow by closing off certain vents/take offs really screws up the balance of the system. I am thinking with some CAO sensors and @Jimbo Polyglot node, I should be able to make something work out pretty well. Just need a pressure sensor that I can get into ISY as well so I can control the bypass properly. Appreciate all the input. Any other thoughts and ideas I am all ears! Thanks.

Automater Air Vents that work with ISY
Anyone ever used any automated air vents that will work with ISY somehow? I am looking to do a poor man's zoning of my forced air heat/cooling system. I have a relatively small house (1700 square feet) but a full finished basement...so want to be able to direct the air and heat a little better without spending a boatload of money on zoning. Something like this: https://flair.co/products/vent It may not be that much cheaper then actually zoning, I have just started looking into it. I can do either task myself...but my background is Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance. I can fix about anything electrical or mechanical...but two things I really suck at are dealing with sheetmetal and wood....I am just not handy that way so I was hoping to stay away from cutting into my main duct system. Thoughts? Edit: I have read enough in the last hour to come to the conclusion that these things are too much money in order to do it right. I already knew you had to control CFM of airflow at all times and many of these systems don't. Not to mention they seem to be pretty darn expensive. If anyone has experience with them would be good to share, but I think I will just go ahead and zone my system my self. Any HVAC guys out there that can give me any pointers on air balance dampers or how to integrate the controls into my automation system (ISY) I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
