I tried the test mentioned previously and didn't see the 16 degree behavior.

I just upgraded the firmware, it rebooted and everything works. Thermostat and everything. I don't have kpl switches.

It looks like the drop down problem in a program where it wouldn't show the light levels is fixed. Thanks.

I noticed this also and this shouldn't work this way. I didn't notice if you explicitely select the motion sensor from the pull down and it does ask you to put it in link mode.

It appears I need to clear the cache each time I come into the console for this not to happen.

I hadn't seen this behavior with 2.7.6 so that's why I thought it strange.

I've noticed that every once in the while I'll drop into the console and it will show "system busy" and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. The device statuses are all blank, but it's not updating them so I'm not sure what it is busy doing.

Michel, I tested 2.7.7 and the issue where a device responds in a scene even though it is disable is still occurs. You indicated it was resolved in this release, but I didn't see it on the bug list.

I have the current beta installed so we'll see if it causes a problem with battery life.

My remote batteries seem to last forever. The remotes aren't used constantly through out the day. I do think you have to be carefull about your linking. I think it can cause activity that you don't want to happen on the remote so it doesn't go to sleep and conserve energy like I think it's supposed to. I've had mine since I think the silver ones first came out and they had some deal where if you upgraded your access points they gave you a remote or something.

I uninstalled and re-installed my EZRAIN and the status does seem to show up every time I come into the admin console now.

I've noticed that sometimes when I come into the Admin Console it will show the Ezrain status and sometime they are blank. If I go out and turn the first zone off then it updates the status. This has been happening for quite a while. It wasn't important, but I'm curious. Is this normal?

This is what I have determined. The problem with control seems to be around scenes and it's repeatable with the same device. I'll have one device not controllable from a scene. I'll tried to turn if off from the scene and it won't go off multiple times. If I go right to the device in the UI and turn it off it will work. What's then strange if I then go back to the scene and turn it on and off it works from the scene like it's supposed to. It's like when you control it directly it fixes or resets something. I've done the I1 restore and using I1 exclusively and that doesn't seem to do it and these problems move around. I'll have scenes work consistantly many times and then start doing it until I do a restore and switch it on and off directly at the device level in the UI. The devices I'm having problems with have been in place almost since then started Insteon and only started doing this at some point in the 2.6 firmware development process.

They are mosting light switches though I have one that is a relay type lamp switch that also is unreliable. I swapped it out with a new one, but it still intermittent. I swapped out my PLM and I've factory reset all my devices in the house and reloaded them through the ISY.

These have been there for at least a year or two.

I have seen this occuring at some point in my firmware upgrade process. I thought it was a hardware issue, but I've just about eliminated that. I've noticed that the devices that are in the scene work find if they are pulled out and controlled separately by a problem than depending on the scene. I might try back installing to 2.6.8 and try that a while.

The Query Button at the bottom now works correctly. The system shows system busy and the progrerss bar appears. Good work.

When I hit the query button at the bottom it puts up a box indicating it is querying the system, but there isn't a progress bar.

I noticed when you do a whole system query that it puts up the querying system box, but doesn't display any kind of progress. You can't even tell the query is running until the system query box disappears and it appears it's update the statuses.

I used to have this problem all the time. I have a linksys WRT150N wirelss router and I found my changing the MTU from auto to manual and the rate to 1024 the problem went away and I never say it again. The MTU on my machines are also running 1024. Since I did this it runs rock solid including backups and installs plus other little network hiccups I was seeing went away.

I asked about this once before and I thought it would be included in one of the future releases. When I schedule I would like to not have to specify a year and only have to specify a month and day. That way something would run for example each year between June 1 and Sept 1. Basically make the year a wild card. Is this available yet. I looked and couldn't see that it was. Thank you.
