Ok, so playing around I made a scene, one for each button A,B,C,D in each of those scenes I added the Button and made it a controller. From here I can manipulate the buttons on the keypad, is this the preferred method ?. This is the first time I have worked with scene's so it was a little trial and error.

All, For some reason it is working tonigh, maybe I was just tired and forgot to hit save, not sure. Anyway part 1 is done, program is attached if interested... Folder Conditions for 'Away Program' Add conditions to limit when programs in this folder are allowed to run. If Status 'Main Floor / Office / A' is On And Status 'Main Floor / Office / D' is On And $Jen's_IPhone6_Home is 0 And $RKip6_home is 0 Then Allow the programs in this folder to run. As for part two, how do I setup the button for remote control through a scene ? or other method

All, I will send a copy tonight, for now what I was trying to accomplish is.... If Keypad button A is on and Keypad button B is on and Phone is status 0 and Phone2 is status 0 Then program can run Please note that this works with a single item (example Keypad button a is on) as soon as I add an and with another item it does not work. As for turning the buttons on/off remotely how is this done, currently if I log on to the ISY remotely I can see the buttons under devices however they cannot be manipulated (stay in the off condition, even though I press "on")

All, I am trying to have certain programs run based upon the status of buttons a,b,c,d. I can do this succefully with one button, however when I want a program to run based upon a and b it does not work. 1. Am I missing something ? 2. I am hoping to use two buttons to activate an away mode with the combination of the status of two phones via mobilinc lite, can I remotly turn off any of the a,b,c,d buttons remotly, effectivly disarming my away setting ( allowing the program to run/not run) ?

Ok got it, i assumed you meant some way to offset the temp inside the isy (apply math to the raw value)

Have a switchlinc installed in the basement and it works 100 % with the ISY however manual it either works, is intermittent or does not work at all. Usually once changed via the ISY causes it to work better but only for a short time, any advice ?
-
How would I adjust in the ISY, sorry my programming is basic and do not have much knowledge on anything other than IF, Then, Else's.

Well at least it's not wave soldered, good old bulky solder. I assume the recalibration is part of/can be done through the everspring ?

Got ya, I was hung up on trying to see how a thermocouple would direct connect to the mimolite, blond moment. Thanks for the response
-
Nestor, I looked although it briefly at the Mimolite manual and don't see/understand how the connection would be made between the two, if you have a moment could you please help me out on this

All, Just wondering if anyone has used the AEOTEC mutlti-sensor or Everspring Sensor and converted it to an external sensor (ie: for a hot tub). I am not too sure what the actual sensor is inside and how it connects but I assume it is an RTD, thermocouple type which should be easily adaptable provided one could get the spec's for it ???

No worries on the date as long as it is in the works, keep up the excellent work

Mike, Will this be part of the version 5 update that will be released in Q1

What a great thread, lots of good info. I am looking into getting this T-stat with the remote sensor to monitor my hot tub temp when I am away. However I have a question(s) in regards to the unit being battery powered... 1. When under batter power will the unit sent the status of the remote sensor to the ISY to allow for low temp alerts 2. The ambient temp get to -20 C (-4 F), the hot tub compartment always stays above freezing, any expectations on battery life 3. The hottub is outside approx 30-40' from the ISY or 10' from a Dual Band switchlinc, will I have any comms issues ( this may be trial and error). Thanks in advance

All, just got this today, linking was super easy however I only see on/off/query commands. From the website it looks like there are different tones available and LED colors, this does not seem to come up. The only spot were I do see some options are when I right click on the device and select config parameters, there is a list but do not know what they mean. Anyone have experience with this device ?

All, Just wondering if having a spare is required as I have seen in the threads that this is a common failure, also is there any definitive time frame on the UDI PLM. Finally or is it just a good idea to have one regardless of which one it is ? Thanks
-
Mike, care to share your programming for all the notifications, currently I have mine setup to show which user opens it, I would like the functionality you have mentioned
-
All, I have started to play around with my keypadlinc, how can i go about setting an away mode after two or three consecutive press's of one of the buttons rather than one to avoid false settings of the away mode ? Thanks

Sorry to highjack however is there also a document that shows how format the notifications (Text, HTML, XML) so one can get the notifications to look a certain way ? -
Teken, Ok, I just started up with a gmail account I have not used in over a year, everything seems to be working for now
-
Ok, changed it back to my ISP and now it works, grrrrr..... so frustrating
-
Ok, thanks I will try that
-
Teken, I was using my ISP however I had a problem where a single program notification did not come through until I switched back to the default, everything was back to normal until this am. Thanks
-
Mike, On another note, everything was working fine last night at approx 10:00 GMT now I cannot get even the test email to work, is there anything going on with your mail server ?
-
Mike, For whatever reason it seems to work now, any idea why it would work on your server vs my ISP ?
