All, Have been using the ISY for a year or so (currently on version 4.2.18) a few days ago I made some modifications to a program and now I am getting constant requests to authenticate, when I do it comes back but sometimes the admin console closes (load programs status bar appears then admin console closes). I also noticed that the data for the climate module is not there any longer. Any help appreciated.

All, I am looking to see if anyone has done an insteon/zwave alarm for their shed outside and what they used. I am in Canada so the temp will go down to -40 Deg C occasionally. I am hoping not to rely on 120 VAC but if needed could make it work. TIA

Teken, Yes, however i was hoping for an adjust from say nothing to full out. Would like to use it as a notify and alarm pending what is going on in the house.

Mike, Sorry the muti-channel stuff, getting all the data back not just a single item. For example the siren has different tones, etc.

Teken, Sounds good, I assume this will be from a machine not inside m local network ?, if the lock does not come up what are my next steps ? Update: I got the brother in-law to check and when he dials in firefox says it is connecting securely however it cannot be verified, is this ok ? Thanks

Teken, 443 did not work so I changed it on both the router and the ISY to 543. In my phone browser with eifi of I entered https://173......:543and it worked (many thanks). I will find a port that works and if there are any issues I will report back. On a side note for anyone that is reading this, if you are with Shaw and are using their WIFI modem P/N: CGNM-2250, you cannot use ports 80 and 443.

Teken, Sorry, stupid question and lack being familiar, I was looking at the selections above not that tabs. In any case it worked, now how to I get the HTTPS working and do I require the 443 port and finally on the list that stu provided what ports should I be looking at for use ?

Teken, When I enter 174.....:82 into my browser on my phone nothing open. Whsat do you mean my http section in the ISY ?

Ok so I changed the ports under the port forwarding tab of the router to portd 82 for public and private with the local IP of the ISY. i used my iphone and typed in the 174.... IP and I got connected to the setup/config of the router. Then having realized my wifi on the phone was on I turned it off and tried again. This time nothing came up.

All, So i was looking up port forwarding on the new router and it looks like the router does not accept or can use port 80, any suggestions ?

All, I followed the notes on how to get remote access to my ISY, found the correct router and completing port forwarding as noted however I cannot gain access. Any idea ?. another note, when I run the port test (port forward network utility), it says it is not open.

It took me to www.isy.com, after I cycle the power on the ISY it took me to the right place, not too sure what happened there

All, Had to change from my router to the ISP modem/router and I cannot access my ISY. I assume this is from the IP Change, any help would be appreciated.

All, I have to random Z-wave items that show up under my network. The first one is ZW 004 Multilevel Sensor and the 2nd is ZW 005 Energy Meter. The zwave devices I have are... ZW003_1 Schlage Powered Door Lock ZW002_118 Multilevel Sensor ZW005_118 Multilevel Sensor Any ideas what they are or why they are here, I am running 4.2.18 Thanks

Thanks Stu, I seem to remember a thread on here in which someone made a keyad into a numeric keypad type device (enter a selection of keys to arm/disarm), was this just a dream or is it possible ?.
