is a z-wave three way switch controlled by isy the same way as an insteon three way switch? Can I follow the isy setup instructions for an insteon three way switch for a z-wave three way switch? I looked but do did not find z-wave three way isy instructions for z-wave...

GH display does not display device status. This problem is only recent: This problem only relates to my MQTT Tasmota switch devices: Everything seems to work perfectly. I have full control over the MQTT switches using Google Voice commands and manual touch control on GH display panel. UD Mobil control panel and isy control panel work without problems. Switch ON/OFF statuses updates and displays correctly on all control panels except for the MQTT switch statuses on the GH control panel. Sometimes the status of the MQTT switches would update the status to ON but then after a second or so would reverts back to the OFF status on its own. At times it would show the correct ON status but most of the time the MQTT switches would only display OFF even though the switches are in fact ON... This situation is only on the GH control display... I checked internet forums and no entries found for this situation. Also did the normal configuration checking and the reboots... The thing that baffles me is that it is intermittent and sometimes works correctly: I wonder whether this is a GH server problem and must await a future update...

for me it worked for a day but now the portal is off-line Problem fixed by whitelisting "*.isy.io" on my router's adware filter

is the old network resource module included in the new Polisy?

I forgot how to enter the favorite editor: I want to change the icon on a favorite node... never mind, I got it (click on pencil icon upper right, pencil then displays a dash through it: for me it is counter intuitive - I would expect the pencil without the dash to be the sign an activated editor)

somehow my devices no longer display status, eg, on/off, temperature, lock/unlocked, etc... yesterday it still worked

Thanks: You pretty much answered my question: Like z-wave some additional hardware will be required... My question was more about replacing circuit boards in the future like getting a couple of versions for z-wave in the past for 994 isy... At present I have a server running Polyglot perfectly but in the future I plan to upgrade to Polisy... I am pretty exited about this project

is polisy hardware future proof? I understand that it will eventually replace the 994 isy: what about z-wave? Is it z-wave ready?

@ Brian H: Yes I did part 3 step 2: following that link will download start.jnip file... it will start the isy finder and then when I try to enter the admin console it just hangs and does nothing except the hour glass... @Michel Kohanin: the light pattern is normal, no errors, same pattern when I re-insert the old sd card and when all is good... The old sd card is the original 1 GB card and the new is 16 GB: I am going to try a smaller sd card...

question: I cleared the java cache and started the isy finder: with the new sd card the ip address still remained the same - is that correct? I removed the new sd card and opened it in file explorer and isy has written its directory folders on it. But still, when I try to access the admin console it just displays an endless hour glass... Also I can ping isy but cannot telnet to it... as soon as I reinstall the old sd card all is well again and I can access the admin console (but I want to replace it because today after a power failure I could not gain access and only regained access after reinserting the sd card several times - this anomaly makes me nervous and I wonder what trouble lies ahead)

that's the whole point: In order to install the firmware I have to access the admin console (step #3) which does not work: after selecting admin console in isy finder nothing happens: I've been wondering whether the new 16 gb sd card is too big even though isy is supposed to support that size...

(I can login with the old provisioned sd card)

@ simplextech no buttons are created even though the event viewer will lists the distinct button pushes accurately @ liliyoyo1 won't make a difference: I do not believe the device is supported in isy

OK: I did unlink and link again and the new device was added but when I went into the portal and tried adding another device I get the error message. Am I to infer that the only way from now on to add a device is to go through the unlinking/linking process each time?

Google home controls 11 devices through isy portal. But I cannot add any new device and simple ends with an error message. I checked my GH app and universal devices are still linked. I know that this issue has been discussed before but I still do not know what to do. I am affraid to unlink and link the portal, being afraid that I loose the control that I still have. Is unlinking and linking again the only option?
