  1. how could I remove these two nodeservers?
  2. I see all of these thread topics about IoX, 3.1.23, 5.6.2 etc. which PG3 am I on? also: on the different posts where the versions are announced, could you tell (remind) us how to update to that version? (as an example, in this thread: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/41545-pg3x-version-3135-3136-july-11-2023/ it tells me to upgrade to 3.1.36 but I am only on 3.1.23 and I can't figure out how to get to 36.)

I got a little further after connecting my thermostat from the "mytotalconnect" account into my "resideo" account and then got this error: @dwengrovitzI'm using a visionpro 8000 wifi thermostat. anyone: where would anyone suggest that I try to get support from Honeywell or from the maker of the Nodeserver?
  4. I am following the instructions and I cannot get past this error (as noted above). when i get to the honeywell home part and click "allow", it says: Please use an account with one or more devices installed I have my thermostat installed. any suggestions?
  5. @DennisC: THANK YOU!!! I'm on 5.5.6 how do I upgrade? I don't see anything that looks familiar to upgrade my firmware.
  6. I figured it was the power supply going bad, so I bought a new one and it still reboots about once week or two. any suggestions? should I open a ticket? or do you think an error log could help me (us) figure out why it is rebooting?
  7. I left the car at the airport for 7 days and when I left the car, it had 178 miles on the battery. when I came back after 7 days, it had 55 miles on it. My cabin overheat protection setting is turned off. my settings on my polyglot are: short poll: 30 long poll: 86400 any suggestions?
  8. when i park my car at the airport, my battery seems to go down fairly quickly. I was thinking that it was because my Node Server is keeping the car "awake" often. is this the case? if so, what could I do to stop it from waking my car up (and wasting battery)? turn off the Node Server when I am parked at the airport? or tweak the settings of the Node Server?
  9. I did a search for qolsys and found a few hits but nothing conclusive. Does anyone have any experience with this alarm system? My alarm guy wants to replace my antiquated system with this qolsys iq4 system. Is the elk better? Isn’t it fully integrated with a Node Server? Should I ask him if he can do that? I appreciate any comments.
  10. @xgfreon on the advice of my ticket, I bought an adapter from Amazon and flash a new disc image. Then load up my backups onto it. don’t forget to click “upgrade packages”. And when you do, make sure you wait for the beeps until you do anything major or you’ll brick it (again).
  11. for what it's worth: I was wondering this same thing. after reading this, I went to the Admin Console "configuration" tab, under "Polisy System Settings" and clicked "reboot" and it definitely rebooted the ISY and it seemed to have rebooted the PG3, although I cannot confirm this for sure.
  12. @elvisimprsntr I agree that recurring subscription fees are to be avoided as much as possible. I'm trying to figure out a workaround for my garage door that doesn't require anything more than a one-time fee for the Node Server. anyone have any suggestions?
  13. it appears that some connectivity of MyQ requires a $10 per month subscription. this MyQ PG3 Node Server also requires a $12.95 per year subscription fee. does the PG3 Node Server require the Chamberlain MyQ subscription to work? https://decortweaks.com/does-chamberlain-myq-require-a-subscription/
  14. are there any other "limits" that I should know about? I have 256 nodes and 40 scenes and 151 insteon. are any of those concerning for my IoP?

  16. I somehow figured this one out. trial and error, I guess. but to answer my questions for other users having similar problems: the IP address does have to be set to to the external address. the 3001 (or whatever you choose) port has to be forwarded to the Polisy internal IP address.
  17. I'm having a similar issue with setting up my Rachio Node server. I am getting this error: (except I changed my external IP address to a.b.c.d.) I tried setting my router to forward port 3001 to my Polisy and that didn't work. I also tried to set this port to my Rachio (because that made more sense to me, despite the instructions for the Node server stating to set it up to the Polisy) and this didn't work. I also don't understand "local installs". wouldn't almost all Rachio installs be "local"? and also: if my Polisy is local to my Rachio, why does it need to connect to it from outside? any suggestions would be appreciated.

  21. I'm getting this error on my PG3: "Portal access token expired" any suggestions as to how to fix this?
  22. I am trying to remotely connect to my PG3. I've tried using the "isy finder" and clicking the PG3 dropdown and it doesn't work, even though the dropdown for the AdminConsole does work. I also tried opening the AdminConsole and clicking the "node servers" > Launch PG3... and that doesn't work. any suggestions would be appreciated.
  23. The problem with the above solution was that “program 2” will run every time that the device goes from “unknown” to “away” which is fairly often. I decided to abort this part, although I did work it out, and use my geofence setting from my HD mobile app to indicate when I leave the house. Thank you for the help and time.

I clicked the "reboot" button inside of the admin console and I noticed that my ISY was not connected to the portal. as per a previous ticket with UD when the same thing happened, Itried clicking the "multifunction button" on the Polisy. it rebooted and now, some 8 or so hours later it is still not on the portal and still sitting with this box going across and across. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  25. i tried deleting and creating a new token and i get the same error, with my station as a five digit number (no leading zeros or text). am I missing something here?
